O2 refresh have an offer which seems to expire tomorrow on a brand new Samsung Galaxy S7. The upfront cost is £9.99 and the device plan is £16 per month. You can choose any tariff you want and cancel it as per the usual HUKD O2 refresh deals.

Seems like a decent price for a brand new S7

I'm thinking of upgrading in about 6 months or so. Not too particularly fond of the S8 or its price. Can I expect to find cheaper S7 deals later or is this the cheapest that may be available on a brand new phone. I'm not really looking for a used one as they wouldn't last as long

S7 was way cheaper last year around Nov - Dec. If you can wait there would be better priced deals n offers. This price is way high in my opinion.
P.S - no time machine
It's showing as £393.99 for the device for me. Am I doing something wrong?
S7 is a poor phone. Sold mine and got A Oneplus 3T much better.

What's poor about it?
Am I missing something? 24 x £16 per month = £384 + £9.99 = £393.99

even still not go to the o2 website but calculated by the details which posted, the total cost is £ 393.99 (not £329.99)
£9.99 + (£16 x 24) = £ 393.99

Wouldn't be so bad if the price difference was that of the original OPO. My first and last OPO.

Do NOT buy the S7 if you care about Video recording. 1080fps@60 suffers from stuttering and anything higher/lower looks terrible at lower frame rates. Search google for 'S7 video stutter' for confirmation how common the issue is.

Device storage (not SD card) used for saving.

I got the phone yesterday and updated to Android 7 straight away, then checked the video today and it's just junk ... so disappointing.

I've been buying Android phones (as well as an iPhone in 2015) for about 7 years and it never ceases to amaze me how they screw up these functions when the previous version, the S6, handled it fine.

It's a year after the release of this phone so it's safe to say it's hardware related.

If you don't care about video ignore the rant.

This looks good. At risk of sounding stupid. How do you get handset for £16 pm?
My wife has an s7 which I got on a black Friday 24/mo deal from Vodafone. the effective price of the phone was lower than this deal, about 320ish I think, when you looked at similar SIM only tariffs. We both think it's a great phone and in particular I would choose it over my current Oneplus Two, which has been consistently mediocre: buggy (always changing but always buggy), poor battery life, reboots itself, camera only OK. the s7 takes such good pictures that I get my wife to take them for me. however improved the Oneplus 3T is, I'm unlikely to go there.
poor deal, expensive handset and these O2 refresh deals still require a credit check and contract - whether you can cancel that later dont come into it, therefore this isnt a deal for everyone...cold

Just tested on my S7 Edge and no such problem. Isn't the S7 identical hardware?
I think S7s are brilliant phones and the majority or people who disagree have never owned one.
