Bit the bullet on this one as many seem to have found success with eGlobal, order should be coming in 5-10 working days so we'll see. Otherwise I place all hopes in S75 and/or Paypal heroically running to my rescue if the brown stuff hits the fan.

At £699 this Note 8 is already the cheapest I can find online from a retailer with a healthy amount of selling experience in the UK.

Use the GIVEME5 at checkout for 5% off the usual price - this brings the Note 8 down to £664.99

Add to that the current TopCashBack offer of 3% and if it tracks you got yourself a Note 8 for approx. 645 big ones.

EDIT: Link was broken, fixed now

What's a decent warranty worth to you?
If LG don't pull their finger out and release the V30 then I might bite on one of these soon...

I have a note 8 and it's the best I've come across, I used to change phones every 6-8 months but my s7 edge I've had for 2 years and this is just a beast

Seeing as I've never had an issue with Samsung products except for the S4 Mini on my partners phone & That I have contents insurance and mobile phone insurance with my bank I feel I'll be Just fine If I opted to purchase It.

Purchased plenty of overseas purchases from Japan PlayStation related products never had one issue where I have had to claim for Warranty touch wood. Only Warranty I've ever had to claim for in my life was My iPhone 4S Charging port connector stopped working Apple swiftly replaced and that was done.
Voted hot
Do I. .don't I. ..I don't know this retailer..hmm
820?
Awaiting the barrage of comments about no UK warranty, when most of the time people never claim on it, and only ever need to get their phone fixed after they drop it and break the screen etc. So what in fact people want is insurance!

Never had a single issue with eGlobal, and as commented previously have ordered over a dozen things. Customer service is crap, but the products have always been delivered within two working weeks, and always new as described.

EDIT: The link in the deal is broken, and all the links you add keep getting updated by HUKD automated referral bot, so I've just deleted those two. Just go to the website yourself, and search for Note 8, find the one you want an buy it!

Agreed. I've bought my fair share f electronics abroad so I'm not as warranty conscious as others. Nonetheless the warranty brigade needs to relax, there are options.

If people truly want warranty, they are better off buying phone insurance which will actually cover accidental damage, and you'd still save some pounds in the long term versus buying the phone at its current inflated price for £200-300 extra within the UK.

Also, you're right, the link broke for some reason, fixed now.

It's dual SIM
Damn, that is an amazing price. Had mine since launch day, paid 869 from Samsung for it, it is a beast of a phone. Love it
The £699 ones I can find are the chinese variant - N9500 - any issues with this? And the 5% code only brings it to 685, not 664.99..?
Explanation of the different models.

The cheapest version is the Chinese model, single with a Snapdragon processor.
code not working now??

Same bro, I'm waiting for the V30 but the note is looming in!!!!
So tempting, 256GB all the way! How does it feel in the hand compared to an iPhone 6/6s/7/8 Plus? I had the note 7 for all of 5 minutes but would still have that right now. Really love the look of these and the S8. Is there a non convoluted way of getting your iTunes movies on these?
I've got this phone after being an apple fanboy for years , must say I don't think k I'll be going back. This phone is stupidly quick and lots to do that u couldn't on iPhone u less jailbroken
Amazing price!

Why doesn't this have a valid warranty? If it's an EU model it should be covered.

I have a s7 Edge and was thinking of getting a Note 8. Is the difference between the screens and cameras big enough to warrant the change? plus what do you think of the wide angled shots? Thanks for any help!
Would this come with UK plug?

Would this come with UK plug?

Probably not considering its a us/China unit
I want to know whether it comes with the headphones, cuz under what's in the box it only lists the charger and manuals
There seems to be 2 versions on eglobal, octa core and quad core, only a few pounds between them? Is there any other difference between those two models?

Like what others have said, code doesn't work. so deal doesn't exist anymore
The code seems to still work with the N9500 variant

One you ideally want is SM-N950FD with exynos processor for which unfortunately the code doesn't work

Is that the better processor? And is that the only difference between the two versions? Thanks

The n9500 seems to be more expensive too?

I'll be honest it doesn't really warrant the price difference but it deffo seems a lot quicker and the battery seems to last a while. This might be because my s7 edge is 2 years old tho. I'd wait a month or so and then deffo go out and get it when u can, don't do what I did and make yourself skint haha
