Its a lease deal over 41 months...
Cash price £6995 according to the terms in the PCP quote

So I would assume they would also sell you the car for £6995

Also £1000 cheaper than orange wheels so even though it's not the car for me it's still worth some heat

Mpg is realistically around 55mpg, it's a noisy car but I love it it. Pay £6995 for the X-play 6 months ago

Free road tax for the first year only

Pretty sure as its under 100 CO2 (g/km) it's free each year
Edited by: "jordan210" 1st Jan 2015
Good price, did get 78Mpg with mine (once) = 50mph motorway only over about 200 miles, generally 57mpg (average) over 1700 miles so far. Sounds more sporty from the inside :-). Good economy car, little underpowered, but great economy. Currently 0 Road tax, due to CO2 rate.

think they are refering to the changes in 2017 where road tax will be 140 after the first year for everybody

Wow is that measured of estimated? The best I ever managed was 532 miles (69mpg) off one tank and that was sitting with lorries. Over 600 mile in real world is a massive achievement.
I could get a 5 year old BMW for this price, voted cold.

haha yes just about to edit after abit of research.. should have googled it before i commented.. so basically buy a new car in 2016 with low car tax and when you sell it it will probably hold its value a bit more? hmm

Lease over 41 months should therefore be £4160. Don't get the figures!!??
Oh and 28 k miles over 3 years.

The wife's Aygo is over ten years old now but on a long, steady motorway run (admittedly in the summer) it will still return 64mpg. I used to get much the same with my dearly departed Daihatsu Sirion which used exactly the same engine.

Arnold clark.... King of the cowboys.
I should have added that wifey is looking to get a new motor this year. She's likely to just get another Aygo but I'm trying to get her to think about the new Suzuki Celerio. For the dosh, it's not a bad bit of kit. I also see that according to What Car, it's the most efficient small petrol car they've ever tested...

Is it available in diesel? Or should aygo elsewhere?

It is £400 more for cash.

If you don't want to deal with Arnold Clark (which would be understandable) you can go through Drive the Deal for £2 more.

Haha!! Brilliant!
i had one of these for a year last year, one of the nicest cars ive ever driven, nippy and even went well on the motorway, only downside was its a 4 seater, no seat belt in back middle probably because it was so small so no family days out for our 5 person family but the car it self was excellent!
now driving a new focus, i know very different cars but still have happy memories of this aygo, also one of the nicest looking small cars on the road!
the only negative i had was when i had the air con on the car would need a few more revs when changing gear or pulling away or it would struggle a little, but other than that only have positives!

i think the big negative to me for this deal is arnold clark!

I don't see how they can charge £400 more as the only reason they could would be an administration fee which they would have to declare. As there is no deposit contribution or anything you can just take out the PCP, cancel in the cooling off period and pay the finance company the final £6896. Job done.
Good price, OK car (not best in class), dreadful dealer - avoid!
Excess mileage of 0.06p? Is that right or do they mean 6p, I.e £0.06

Stop talking out of Yaris
sounds good..Though due to lack if experience centre with lease deals. how does it work? it says total payable is £8879... how do you ensure you pay the minimum amount and not get caught by any cheeky interest? due to a slow new years day mind I'm unable to work out if it's worth pursuing or not.. Happy new year)

Its a good car i drove 1000 miles in 24 hours london to scotland return
Noisy n not good on fuel on motorways but good in town

Why o why..... This is excellent deal for someone who wants a brand new small city car..... Like the missus gran. Vote for the saving/deal and certain don't vote a deal cold because it doesn't fit your personal requirements. Good find op!
I had one of these as a hire car, to be honest its one of the worst cars I have ever driven make sure you have a test drive if you are even thinking about getting this pile of crap

What like a standard petrol one with mileage at 80,000?

Yeah much better value than a 15 plate

On a motorway yes you will but not the town environment this is aimed at
I could get 20 cars like my 23 year old Astra mk3(maybe more) so cold...not really...heat added. If I had the dosh I would get one!

The cash price for the car is presumably 6995. You lease it, and so have to pay interest. That's 1884 over 41 months, so 46 quid per month to borrow 7000k. Seems about right.
The PCP example is 125 quid per month for 41 months (£5125), then you owe them the balloon of 3712 quid.
200 quid per month is a very normal amount to pay on a car per month. So 125 is insanely cheap. That's approximately 35 Café Latte with a shot of caramel @ Starbucks. If you have 2 Starbucks per day, for each working day of the month, then you can afford this car and only have to revert to tap water
