Personally I think if you were a serious gamer you'd just buy a Sega megadrive.
Owned this phone, and I must say, it possibly has one of the worst cameras I've used in a recent Smartphone. Bezels are pretty Damn big as well, all the better to hold it I guess!

Sold it on the old bay in the end, everything else was great, including build quality, battery life etc.

I don't believe people buy these strictly to game, I can't also believe they don't check out reviews of every feature, even hardcore gamers will want a phone that is a phone.

Its still a phone though, and the first thing (most people) want is a good camera.

FYI added heat as its a good price!

I would, reviews are surprisingly good overall so phone must function as such too

How is this better for gaming than a Pocophone? They have the same processor and the Poco has a decent camera and is 229 at the moment

The only thing this has over the pocophone, is the shark switch (total gaming zone) pretty cool actually, and a better (imo) build quality, metal over plastic.

Poco camera is better, both perform well battery wise, this phone was woefully overlooked when the Poco was released, when this was the original bargain.

Its been this price for a while before the Poco price reduced.

£23, cost-effective
I personally like the look of the black shark 2.

Some reviewers do too (I can't stand it)

Yeah, it's definitely an aquired taste, it's just nice to see a change from the norm for a change, also like the mi9T too after watching a YouTube unboxing, may even get one at some point as a filler.
Think I’d pay the bit more and get the Razor Phone 2 if I was a gamer. I had the OG and the 120 Hz screen and near stock android was amazing (probably only skin prefer to stock along with oxygen os). Sold it as MrSwitch said because it had a crap camera and low peak brightness. I understand the version 2 addresses some of these (camera better after updates).

Gamers on a budget should buy a Switch, not this. Or get a 2DS XL plus a decent phone for £150
