Yes I have. :-D

I can't taste much difference between brands. Cheaper ones tend to have less beans and more sauce, but still better value when you consider the price.

Perhaps they're meant to be called: Tesco 'do you' Value 'your life' Beans?
17p is a rip off anyway, I remember buying tins of beans for 6p just to stamp on or leave in ridiculous places when I was at school.

beans means wind...whatever they cost.

I like these beans better than Heinz any day. Morrisons often have these on BOGOF's I bought 16 tins in all 4x4 packs over 2 weeks and stock up for a while. Mind you do that with any BOGOF stuff that I like.

Own brand beans are where the action is.
I can't taste the slightest difference and you can get some as cheap as 5p a tin at aldi, lidl, netto et al.

Not Ironick????

I was in a cafe yesterday when an old man came in and ordered two tins of beans on toast, he really enjoyed them. 1 min after leaving, a policeman rushed in and said he had just died outside the door!. Thats funny said the cafe owner, he was full of beans when he left.

None of T's value range is suppose to be eaten!

Thanks magic-man, equivalent to half price this had to be voted hot!

Branston Beans are the Best (buy four) - (Sorry folks!) The flavour is second to none!

Admittedly, if you're into adding chilli, the difference between brand flavours become less noticeable as you increase the amount. (excluding the Value 'your life' range) - (good description MB)

sherk, I too, like these beans better than Heinz any day but although these and many other products have a very long life, don't forget about the use buy dates and you can't put everything in the freezer!

I wouldn't like to see you off colour mate!

if you want cheap beans, but dont want horrible carboardy beans from supermarket, get these http://www.choice.com.au/files/f116327.jpg from aldi. i'm sure they only about 18p a tin and taste as good as heinz!!

me i prefer Branston any day of the week
