Following on from roselee's post for Heinz baked beans, I thought this offer deserved a post of it's own as many people in that thread say they prefer Branston instead.

So same price, Branston Baked Beans, 3 tins for a quid at Asda
(or 63p per can)

Thanks to scruffty for the pointer!

apologies i was only there at the weekend, should have checked it was still on offer.

Is there anyone that prefers these to Heinz? Seems very far fetched to me ;-)

I know what you mean.

Beanz Meanz Heinz to me too, but every Heinz Baked Bean deal has numerous posts for for Branston

Branston are the best beans IMO, they seem bigger than Heinz and taste nicer , think they have more tomatoes in the sauce too

branstons beans and their spaghetti taste nasty. they should stick to pickle.

It's funny, I much prefer Heinz, but when these are 3 (or indeed 4) for a pound, and Heinz are at their normal ridiculous price of 63p a tin or whatever it is, I prefer these

spaghetti is vile i agree but the beans are yummy

Yes me, I much prefer them. Usually manage to get them cheap somewhere too.

I think Branston are better than Heinz - don't seem to generate such after effects either

I wouldn't call that a plus point ;-)

I bought 4 tins of HP for 79p last week , you may still find them in store. Same quality as Branston so cold deal for me as I stocked then! hotukdeals.com/ite…ma/
