Saw these in Argyle Street, Glasgow earlier, at the £1 section - assume there may be more out there?

Remember polishing my parents brass odds and ends with this stuff.
Sign of the times though, not many folks have a need for it nowadays.

I love the olde worlde packaging on this, Brasso especially, is a design classic. Think I'll pop back and get some Silvo, if there's any left tomorrow
Lovely with a few ice cubes.
Is this not classed as a beverage in Glasgow?
Your deal is doing better then mine

These products are great for removing sticky residue from hard surfaces and general cleaning of scuff marks on kitchen appliances.
A very underrated product.
Love this stuff. We bought a BIG mirror only to find it had scratches on arrival. A little rub Brasso and no more scratches.
Did you check the price? These were £2 so good price if been reduced to £1

Nope - I did say earlier I was going to go back. It was definitely at the £1 section (near the shoe items). Hopefully it's not assistant error, happens sometimes in Poundland, though mercifully it's getting rarer.
What is this? I only polish my pastries or shoes. Heat added though.

Apparently the "Brasso Wadding" used to be called "Duraglit" and Brasso was a liquid only, years ago (so I'm being told). I'd need to ask my mum!

These are both metal polishes - which is why I pasted images from Amazon highlighting which metals they're best used for.

Edit: I'll Edit the Deal header to say "Metal Polish".

Yes they were both called Duraglit wadding years ago, the one for silver and electroplate was in a blue tin and the brass and copper one was in an orange tin, still have a tin of each in my garage, its a bit dried out now.
If I'm passing poundland I may treat myself to some new ones!
And yes I only remember Brasso as a liquid metal polish.

Re: Pricing. I've just paid a visit to the Argyle Street store again, and it (Brasso) scanned at £2.
33601053-S9kGm.jpgI told the lady at the tills and tried to explain it was at the £1 section, she simply put it through at £1 (after a bit of messing about, as you can see on the receipt) - even though I was querying the price.

The store was busy and her English wasn't great (just an observation) so it's hard to tell whether this is actually £1.

Edit: Btw, Caroline_1993, thanks for your updates - I got a few more baby bits for £1 today, (and got the bigger size Johnson & Johnson Baby Bath 750ml and J&J Shampoo 750ml for £1 last night).
