Saw this today instore, £54.99 (half price) but there's a promotion saving 20% off the ticket price of all shavers over £50!

Paid £43.99 for mine, tried it tonight and it's absolutely fantastic, there's plenty of stock around too!

It's instore only, sold out online.

More info on Braun's website here: braun.com/glo…tml

This is my first deal, so please go easy on me!

I can't believe no one has commented on this!

I've been waiting for months for a deal to come up on a new Braun shaver and this is a fantastic deal.

Had to point out the discount to the chap at the till but that only added a few seconds - £44.99 instead of £110 - Bargain!

Thanks macmini!!

This certainly looks like a good deal.

Does anyone know if the half price offer is a nationwide promotion available at all Comet stores, and if so for how long?

Thanks.

PS: Voted Hot anyway!

Montala,

I'm assuming it's nationwide as it was part of the standard promotions in Bristol (Cribbs Causeway) and Gloucester this afternoon.

Althought the 20% was on the system it wasn't automatic and the chap at the checkout wasn't aware of the the extra 20% discount.
But once told - he found the discount button in seconds!

Cracking price, well spotted macmini, heat added.
Was on the look for a new shaver and always use Braun.
Got mine from Stoke Festival Park branch, other branches in area had stock too.
Just give the assistant a nudge in the right direction and you will get 20% off.
There are some leaflets lying around instore in some branches promoting the 20% off deal.
Looking forward to a shave now.

Boots are also doing this half price at the end of the month.
I have been waiting for the end of October as it states in their xmas catalogue that the offer will start then.
Now I don't have to wait AND get an extra 20%!
Thank You - off to Comet first thing!

Are these electric shavers any good though? I'vr got a phillips one and it takes ages to get a good shave. In fact its quicker to get the gillete fusion out!

This model has had some reliability problems which is why they are probably off loading them.

They have a guarentee though don't they?

Yes, two years.

Great shaver, i'm over the moon with mine!

Nice one carleast, 3.2/10 is very poor! best bet is to pay little bit extra and get the Remington MS5800 Titanium Washable Shaver 9.6/10:thumbsup:

Went to get this from my Comet today and thay said the 20% wasn't available on this as it was already discounted. If yours says the samr then it's £1 cheaper from Argos (and you get a £5 gift card for spending over £50), though I ended up getting a Philishave which had been discounted from £75 to £46. Bought a toaster at the same time and got the gift card.

I've actually just returned an MS5800!

Worst shaver i've ever had, awful thing!

Picked one of these up last week from Comet, had to remind them of the 20% but got it for less than £45 so can't complain.

Until today that is... lasted all of 4 shaves before playing up. Just switched off and refused to re-start. Plugged it in the mains and all was fine. So I assume it discharged itself whilst in the clean and renew holder for the last 2 days.

Not impressed, hopefully just a glitch but if it does it again in the next week its going back. Also seems to load up and run slowly very easily even on my bum fluff
