I have this trimmer, 13 lengths is correct. You push the guard up to the next length basically.

What I will say though is the 1mm and 2mm guards are useless. They do not cut any hair.

It's a nifty machine for doing a quick trim, it's not super sharp but it works well enough. Maybe I just need a new one.

Thank you for your input.
I bought this during lockdown and I'm very happy with it
Good price for a decent trimmer on its own. Especially good value when it's got a razer that goes for around £7 thrown in too
How many gigabytes does it have?

These models are rated in gigabeards
ordered. thanks OP
I got this a couple of years ago for Christmas, and only started using it after my old beard trimmer stopped working.

It's ok. I'd agree with sklskl in that it's not the sharpest. Also the combs only go up in 2mm increments, so not great if you're looking for specific lengths or going for a smooth fade. It takes an eternity to fully charge too.

I much preferred my old Remington trimmer, was much sharper and did a far better job of cutting and shaping. But I owned two of them and both of them broke down within a year. This on the other has been very sturdy and reliable so far.
With regards to the razor buy a double edge. An Edwin Jagger or Merkur. 100 astra blades are like £9 on Amazon and they can last you over a year. A good DE razor will be £15-25 easily. You will never look back! Cheaper in the long run, miles better for the environment and will give you a much better shave with less shave burn. Dont be scared to learn how to use them - its eay! Just avoid butterfly ones as I've found theyre more diffult to use.
Rly good price, i paid on Groupon 29.99. Good quality stuff and lot accessory but Battery life is bad. In this set was includes body gromming - is excelend

No, is not! Same model but better set for extra couples pounds
I have this, or at least the same one but older spec. I’m yet to use it as it came with a European plug -.-

Are you sure it's not the same plug most electric razors and toothbrushes come with? You can buy an adapter quite cheaply or charge in most hotel bathrooms
Got one of these to use during lockdown and decided to keep using it, head shave and stubble trim whenever I want now for free

I ain’t renting a hotel room just to charge the thing

And probably is yeah but I don’t like the adapters. They seem flimsy at best

Edit: I have a 3 year old hence why I need something secure haha

Does anybody here own or know of a shaver that's charged using either a micro usb or usb C connector instead of having its own custom plug? I travel a lot and I'd love to now have to carry around the extra plug and just use the same one i use for my phone.

Is there a 0.5mm cut available??

Yes it is! The pic you put up is for the 5280 and this listing is for the 3245... Which are 2 different models. One has 5 attachments and the other has 7 attachments. Get your facts right.

Two options then -
1/ (old school) cut the plug off and wire up a standard UK 13 amp plug. Not hard to do well. Used to be a routine thing!
2/ get a better adapter! I recently spent £3.50 on ebay for one of these - it is a 13 amp plug that 'swallows' the 2-pin euro one and it is then secured with a screw. Looks and acts like a UK plug! I paid the money because I needed a non-destructive solution (borrowed item!) and one that didn't pull apart under its own weight... It works!

Undoubtedly there are two different sets with different product IDs. But are the main bodies (the motor/clipper) really different? They do look rather similar.
EDIT - found out that the 5 has a lithium battery, whereas the 3 has NiCd. There may be other differences too.

Think this'll be okay for cutting my head hair to nothing? Some days I just can't be bothered shaving my head!
8 hour charge time and this is hot. Good luck when it runs out and you're half shaved. 90s tech.

I ordered a usb flash drive from them and although it was pretty cheap, it arrived in more than 1 month. Those guys probably ship from China, so beware.
Thank you for posting. We have added this to the Highlights pages
my order for this just arrived. a bit annoyed that it only comes with the 2 pin wall plug. i clearly didny read the full description. lol

i have a euro adapter. will hopefully use it wirelessly. shall report back.
these clippers are ok. i have really thick steaight hair so theyve jammed twice. but managable if youre patient with not cutting at the lowest length first and instead doing it at descending lengths.

reasonably happy.
