This got great heat a month or so ago at Argos for £19.99 but now £14.99 at amazon on mine there was a £1 voucher on the product page just under the price (this may not be available to all), takes it to 13.99 and if like many you have an NUS card there is an additional discount to take it down to £12.49.

Still a great price without the additional discounts.

no sign of the extra £1 voucher but went for this anyway with NUS discont. Thanks.

I had a load of vouchers on my account from a few weeks ago, always worth while adding them just in case if the price goes down you can still use the voucher if its still active.

Effectively this was free for me after using the £15 voucher from the Amazon Men's Grooming Box offer on HUKD

Exactly - it's taken shaving and toothbrush manufacturers years to switch over to a high capacity lithium ion battery instead of ni-mh...

There's still toothbrushes on sale from Braun that taken 18+ hours to charge!!! It's like a 200mah battery inside them!!

Even now that Philips are switching over to lithium ion, their low-end shavers still seem to be crippled with absurdly long charging times. They can't be saving much money by doing this, not with the capacity batteries they're using - it seems to be purely a way of upselling people to a more expensive shaver with one-hour charging. Not sure Braun have even bothered to switch at all yet.
