I just bought this to replace a Braun M90 shaver that's lasted me 5 years being used every other day.

It's the same internals as the M90 less the trimmer (which was useless anyway).

- AA rechargeables can easily be replaced vs shavers with built-in batteries.

- Shaves very well if used with a dab of shaving foam/gel (it's waterproof).

- You can buy 3 of these for the same price as a Braun series 3 Wet/Dry shaver (assuming £40 cost)

They are average used dry, and they wont tackle stubble beyond 48hour stubble.

It's when you use them wet with a blob of shaving foam that they shine and mine gave a smoother shave than a Gillette Fusion.
Yeah I found they work best on wet skin but after a while the screws rust (when you remove the foil, next to the cutter) - they're ok for travellers etc.
The screws on mine have just started to rust after 5 years. I do shake it off thoroughly each time i use it.

For my next one there's lots of room above the screws so I'm just going to cover them with a little blob of araldite to seal them from any water.

But still £13.29 for 4-5 years of shaving is good.

I think it you dried it off, or left the top off to dry out once you've shaved it would help also. Mine cost me £5 from Sainsburys a good few years ago so I wasn't losing sleep over it rusting
