cheers op, come around at the right time.... thanks

Bargain! thanks!

Great value, but will these work on an Triumph IQ 5000?

Do these work with the Oral B Professional 1000?

Original Poster

Yes they work with all Oral-B's

Asda have 4 packs of the floss heads with the thin yellow bits for £7 at the moment too (the head that comes standard on Oral B Triumphs)

These will fit any Oral B that isn't a sonic one I reckon.

I am thinking about getting a pack of those floss action heads as well. Do you prefer them over the precision clean?

No, not all the time - maybe use them for say 1 week then the standard ones for the next 3 weeks and so on. There is also a 'polishing' head which has a yellow rubber cup in the centre called 'ProBright' - again I would only use once in a while. amazon.co.uk/Ora…8-2

Both of these are a bit 'rougher' in use, so I'm not sure whether it would be wise to use them on a permanent basis...

I wouldn't recommend them. They are perhaps useful to use once or twice a week but they seem a lot more harsher.

I use the floss action ones every day. They are much better for getting all of the stuff of the very rear molars and make your teeth feel twice as clean. Unless you have gums that bleed easily then I don't see how they will be too harsh. I am not a dentist, though. The polishing heads are a gimmick. I still have the original one that came with the toothbrush. I must have usd it 4-5 times in 2 years.

I think I will give them a pass. Thanks for the feedback both.

Has anyone seen any cheap Oral B electric toothburshes at the moment?

If like me you don't always floss, they produce the best result IMO. Since I started using them I haven't had any problems with my wisdom teeth, whereas they used to flare up every couple of months (even if i tried to floss them every day, as it was too awkward to do correctly).

Even my GF who hates using the Braun, has started using it because the Floss action gives such a good clean.
