Every xmas many electric shavers are on offer ive had them in the past but non are as close as a wet shave with a gillette fusion razor and shaving gel !! Yes blades are expensive but give best shave ! Even £150 electric razor doesnt shave as close
Saw this last night and reserved one for my Dad at our local store. He went in today and was told they didn't have any despite showing as in stock ast night.:(
I have quite sensitive skin, and have to shave with the grain which is lots of effort and only lasts a few days.

Was looking to get one of these for xmas can anyone comment on its performance?
PS is it the wet n dry version?
I've not yet found a foil shaver that cuts as well or as close as a Philishave with the rotary heads.... but the Philishaves then give you bad shaver burn.
Probably had around 10/15 electric shavers in my life and always return to a wet shave.
Yeah I have a philishave with 2 rotary blades but it sucks for my skin and doesnt give a close shave i've always thought that a foil shaver would suit me better but never tried one. May very well go for this.
I guess it depends on the person.... but all the foil shavers i've used miss parts of stubble around my neck, and you have to keep going over and over it. Even where it does cut evenly its never that close.
It ends up taking even longer than a wet shave.
I suffer from sensitive skin, and exceptionally heavy facial hair growth. Wife bought me the Braun Series 7, 2 years ago and it's the closest thing to a wet shave as you get. No skin irritation or anything.

Going to get this one also, as a spare to keep in work.
just got one last week for my 40th.
Not very good on 12 hour stubble, but 24 hour it sorts out nicely.
still misses on the neck so the wet razor will need to come out if fussy.
