Good price usually around £200. Thanks OP
Great price. Bought at Christmas on a lightning deal for more than this. Converted me from a blade. This is the top of the range wet and dry model.
I have the current 7 series model, but it must be coming onto 5 years old now, and needs replacement, not sure if its in store but hopefully will be delivered soon
Do you have to be a costco member to buy online?

Don't believe so, no.

There may be a 5% surcharge?
has anyone submitted an Amazon price match?

has anyone submitted an Amazon price match?

Nope, I just ordered. Didn't think about that actually
Would Amazon match pre-surcharge price? Costco cust service is decent, maybe better than amazon??
Page not found??? maybe this deal is expired?

Just checked the Costco flier, deal doesn't start till 22nd February.
Ok I'll check this out on monday then, anyone know how much it would be for 9 series replacement head?, noticed from some reviews you can no longer change the foil on this, looks a good buy but dont want to be shelling out the cost of a new remington/panasonic shaver every time the foil goes, lol

Heat added anyways.
It's available again. £146.99 with non member surcharge.

It was online the day I posted it, Thursday I think? Ordered it then
Just noticed an old email from Costco (Nov.'15) it was advertised at £159.99, so it's came down a little, still expensive but rated one of the best shavers in 2016, just hope I get a couple of years use out of it before the head/foil goes..

They recommend 18 months until
You change it, my 7 series this is replacing has been good, but the base unit stopped working, hence me getting this one

How does this one compare to your series 7 Dave?

It looks and feels a lot better, reminds me of one of those robot baddies from Battlestar Galactica

The self clean process is cool, it dries the shaver off with fans afterwards!
I'm hoping that it gives a closer shave, just got an email saying that it's shipped so should have it soon, surprised this didn't get much heat, it's almost half price compared to Argos, Tesco etc., I know it's a little more than a lot of shavers out there but hopefully worth it.

Yeah i know, i was expecting it to heat up.... Ah well, I got a good shaver thats all i really care about
Just received this earlier this afternoon, it came in a grey poly bag with Parcel Force, box was in a shocking condition, cant tell at the mo whether shaver or cleaning station have been damaged as it came in an uncharged condition, I suppose I should've checked before signing for it because I wouldn't have accepted the delivery if I had seen the condition of the packaging.
Any peeps out there buying one of these, please remove the outer packaging and check the goods.

Shaver looks good but a bit disappointed the foil/cassette head doesn't come with a plastic protective cover, just need to be careful with where I place it, good strong case though but no provision for storing the charge cable.

Thanks a lot, finally found this shaver at a more reasonable price. Better that what the Amazon Lightning deal was (I believe £159) and finally took the plunge. Voted hot, unsure why this deal did not get more heat - is this shaver available even cheaper anywhere? When brought into amazons attention, they advised the usual thing - Amazon does not price match...

don't think that you can get it any cheaper, done a few searches, Costco are good to deal with too.
I bought one of these shavers knowing it was a good price but now realise it needs a new cleaning cartridge every month which add considerably to the 'running cost'. I've not used it yet and would welcome some opinions about the real ongoing cost of this while I decide to return it. I see that the 'bay has 8 packs for £25 or you can buy the fluid in litre bottles from Germany. Anyone tried these alternatives?
I'm not sure but I was intending to only use the cleaner after every discharge, so should last at least a couple of months, being a wet and dry shaver a quick rinse under the tap should be ok till it gets it's weekly overhaul
£25 for eight cartridges doesn't seem too bad if they can last a little longer.
This is the best shaver I've ever used giving the closest shave, side trimmer a little bit disappointing but hey ho.
Imo regardless of what clean and charge shaver system you end up going for you will always have this cost to weigh up.

According to the spiel, one cartridge lasts 30 cleaning cycles, I'm not going to use the cleaning station every day, maybe every three-four days, so a cartridge would then last about 3 months, that's only just over £1 a month, not a bad deal at all for a top of the line shaver system.

Thanks for this! Much cheaper than anywhere else.
