I paid 25.99 last month at amazon so a quid cheaper now
As good a thermometer you can get for that sort of money I think, works quickly so good for wriggling babies

Bought one of these when they were £23.40 before Christmas. Was invaluable last week when little one had a fever. Could accurately monitor the effects of the Calpol to bring the temp down.

When we visited the GP he had the same on his desk.

I got mine 3 years ago and cost over £40!! Worth every penny though its been a life saver and helps keep me at peace of mind in the middle of the night!!

For anyone getting one, take your childs temprature a couple of times when they are 100% well so you know what to compare it to x my Son sits lowish so even if he goes up to 38 its getting high for him x

More than welcome x thankyou x

I nearly thought the title said that the thermometer came with a Free Mum there. I was getting slightly worried.

paid £15 for one and its useless, comes up with different temp everytime you use it, red, green, green, red frickin useless, so might give this 1 a try as boys are feverish at mo, cheers

hey all, i bought one of these, thanks for the deal. whats the deal with the filters tho? do you have to change them every time or will one do for a few goes?

It will work more than once, but recommended to change each time.

These are NOT suitable for up to about 6 week olds. If your 6 weeker or less is unwell, go to your GP, don't be reassured by a normal reading on one of these. Apart from that, these are great. (I have one.)

hmm ok. thanks for that. will buy some extra thingys. my boy is almost 4 months!

I paid £22.40 for mine from Amazon in Dec 2008. this is still cheaper than in Boots and mothercare.

As a mum this is the best product i have ever invested £40 in. At this price you really cannot afford not to. Great advice to take a "well" temperature, i would add to take from both ears too as my little one is always half a degree different - dont know if this is normal or not

Oh and heat added even tho I already have one.

I wouldnt be w/o mine. Look out for promos on the head things. Recently got 2 packs for £6.50 in T which werent bad

Agree entirely with others. With babies, it's invaluable having a thermometer you can trust and works in seconds. Little hated having his temp taken before now he doesn't even notice. Might be a 2nd one to keep with grandparents.

Can't recommend them enough. Ours is a slightly older model, almost 6 years old now I come to think of it :? and they were recommended to us by Addenbrookes paediatric oncology nurses when our youngest daughter had Leukaemia.

TBH we hated using the thing as we had to use it so much in a 2-3year period and due to the complications with the illness a reading anything higher than 38 degrees meant a trip straight in to hospital....no questions asked!

Deffo recommended though and very good price

There's a small illusion on the Picture of the thermometer

If you look in the centre of the two items, the penguin look a bit like Homer Simpson with Elvis's hair

lol.....that's the first thing I saw when I looked at it, and only after reading the OP did I see the penguin

Anyone else notice it?

You need this thermometer as I think you might have a temperature :P

No.

Excellent thanks, been meaning to buy one of these and i know i'll need it when i dont have one - so getting it now.

Good deal

Very Useful Tip - I have been wanting to buy a ear thermometer for my kid - his temp normally raises quickly and he doesn't like the oral thermometer. Good Price. Voted Hot.

Just purchased one from here. Much cheaper than mothercare. Don't forget your nectar points people.

It came, very easy to use - perfect, thanks for the tip
