This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Generally considered to be at the top of end of digital thermometers.

Price, I have to admit, is nothing special (RRP) but we live in unusual times where certain items are hard to obtain and command ridiculous prices on some auction sites (feel free to make your own checks, they scare me).

Main thing is that it is in stock and from a reputable source. I expect they will go quickly.

superdrug.com/Bab…855 isnt this the same one? At 39.99, down from £49.99
Not sure why people or voting cold I was about to pay £80 for one off eBay. Thanks so much op. If this gets voted -1000 you’ve save me £23 and I know it’s legit. Thanks honestly.

Genuinely I am so happy, just to get one from a shop.

Shocking how quickly these sold out, luckily we had one before all of this. They are great thermometers but this price is very steep.. if it’s all you can find though...
Couldn't find anything for 1p to get free delivery.

I don't mind the cold votes - as I said this is not in any way a hot price, but people like me (and seemingly you) who have been looking for one of these weeks will be happy and pounce.

Glad I could help, which is what it's about.
They have plenty in stock, bought 199 for ebay.

I’ve had my thermoscan thermometer for nearly 18 years and it’s still 100% reliable
I got mine 2 years ago for £41. This is cold.
I think the “deal” in this case is for the fact that the thermometer is a good brand, from a decent retailer and importantly...is in stock.
The price compares favourably to what is out there at the moment (e.g. rip off eBay sellers) and therefore for people concerned about Covid-19 and seeking reassurance by being able to reliably check temperatures of themselves and loved ones then it is hot!
Forget about what it cost last year etc, in these times for the reasons highlighted this is a good deal and a good spot from the OP.

Glad to know about this, Op... Amazon full of even more expensive reviewless listings from new Chinese sellers - no way of assessing quality or ease of use. Great to know about this one - many thanks x

Do you live somewhere out of the way, Sue?

It's still offering me delivery.
Thanks OP , ordered for C&C
Appears these are a step up from old fashioned mercury thermometers but have disadvantage of on going cost of lenses. Better option to me would be the newer no- touch thermometers which seem to be around £60 but for all types out of stock everywhere. If I had a child or one on the way I would order one anyway- no telling how long this is going to go on for.

Argos drop these to £31.99 fairly often and if you are a new parent and signed up to Emma’s Diary there is a £10 off Argos Code for them... Managed to pick one up £21.99 in Feb 🏻
I’ve tried to get one of these as my old one packed up just as we got told to stay home. They’re like gold dust!
Heat added even though I got mine from Amazon for the same price - the trick is to go on amazon at 5am when less people are shopping. I’ve noticed stock appearing for many items.
This thermometer is easy to use so it’s a 🏻 from me.
A good deal considering two weeks ago I couldn't find any Braun for less than £80.

Essex by name, Essex by nature, lol
These are now OOS
Expired as indeed now out of stock, which will be a relief to everyone who could get them cheaper elsewhere!

I was referring to the Superdrug ones referred to in the additional link, and I assume you mean the JL ones? Thank you for responding so kindly.... I really want the Braun forehead no touch ones, but seem to be like gold dust to find and definitely OOS on JL and Amazon :-(. I've seen unknown Chinese makes of no-touch ones, but am wary of their accuracy....

The “newer” non touch have been around for
years, yet the in ear ones are more accurate. My sister has an infrared one from when my niece was younger, as during the night the in ear one would wake her, but the infrared one she could use without waking her. The better option for my household is the thermos can as it’s more accurate. I don’t understand the science behind them, but it’s the reason they are used mostly in hospital.

I love the idea of taking your temperature with a thermos can.
