Ferris Bueller's Day Off was based on a true story. The car I borrowed was a Ford Escort, we had a meal at Bella Pasta and I sang Twist and Shout in a Karaoke bar (rather than a parade), but otherwise I thought the Hughes adaptation was very good.

Wow, I've been waiting for this to come down in price for ages. I remember when my wife first introduced me to this film, so I guess for me, it has romantic value. Might even get it in time for Valentines day - definately worth the money then, if you know what I mean ;-)
