A stupendous historical saga, Braveheart won five Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director for star Mel Gibson. He plays William Wallace, a 13th-century Scottish commoner who unites the various clans against a cruel English King, Edward the Longshanks (Patrick McGoohan). The scenes of hand-to-hand combat are brutally violent, but they never glorify the bloodshed.

my husband loves this film, voted hot!

Brilliant film, and ideal for a basket filler for free delivery!

Lol can i just say -- the 2nd disc has a 30 min doc and thats it

Nothing else

horrible film that makes history cry:-( but very good price:)

Historical garbage and quite embarassing.

While it may be far from factually correct, the general premise of events was close enough.

Great film. Especially when he whips that blokes head off and coincidentally at the same time a small pot of tomato ketchup squirts on the camera. Voted Hot.

I guess it all depends on what book you read, doesn't it? No doubt the one you've read is 100% accurate.:whistling:
