I am not sure this is worth the bread.

I don't knead one but I might roll to my local Aldi tomorrow

Not bad for the dough

I knew my comment would get a rise out of people on here. It's the yeast they could do.

I think we need to stop loafing around now, it's the yeast we could do

What kind of half baked thread is this? I dough not see the point in it

All white, don't get browned off, this deal has probably just been seeded.

I simply don't knead one!

A money making machine!!!!! X)

the smell of freshly baked bread is the best smell in the world!!

I must be a gluten for punishment reading through all these awful bread jokes!!

The batch of puns in this thread are the toast of the town, whichever way you slice it.

We really were on a roll, but now I donut want muffin else to do with it.

Also available at Birmingham Bordesley Green branch.

I thought these were only for the 'uppercrust'

Best thing since sliced bread

I heard that they made them in the middle yeast

Great find! Heat added. It should have a timer function on it. Set it for the morning. You will be in a great mood all day long after having awoken to such a gorgeous smell.

Havent open the box yet, but it states there is an 13 hour programmable delay timer

I've had a number of bread makers over the years and not one of them has produced a decent loaf of bread - stick to your local supermarket!

Ciabatta believe it !

Home made bread is much better than shop bought.

Any in north east England?

Does anyone have one of these and recommend them? Are they any good?

I bought one and ended up binning it after experimenting with 10 loaves same recipe, 10 different outcomes. That was the third cheapy breadmaker. Took the plunge and bought a Panasonic which only failed to make a perfect loaf once and that's because I forgot to put the yeast in :|, to be honest even that loaf was better than some of the ones from the cheap breadmaker.
Heat added because it's a good deal but my advice is not to bother with it.

Couple of weeks ago it was on sale for £29.99 u might be able to find that post. Was quite few good reviews

I've got one, and use it twice a week. Makes a nice loaf. Not as good as a Panasonic but then at this price a bargain.

I loaf Aldi deals. Too bread I don't knead this one dough!

Sorry but I'm not risen up to some of these posts

I agree about the Panasonic breadmakers. They are relatively expensive but are completely reliable - excellent and consistent results. Ours is used four or five times a week. Just remember to put the yeast in - I made that mistake once too. oO

omg i needed a laugh today... thanks guys!!! xx

We have a Panasonic and it has never produced a failed loaf in 3 years of regular use - even the first one we ever made was perfect. A friend who didn't want to pay Panasonic prices (as he wasn't sure he would get into breadmaking) got hold of one of these Aldi ones, and following the instructions for this machine, his first two loaves were pretty dire. He then used one of my recipes from the Panasonic (different order for adding ingredients and slightly different proportions) and it came out brilliantly. So if you get one of these and have problems when you follow the instructions in the accompanying leaflet, it's worth continuing to experiment - once you've got a method that works, it seems to work consistently. The machine is capable of producing loaves that are as good as the Panny ones - it's perhaps just not quite as foolproof!

Great deal for ANYONE lucky enough to actually find it

Agree with the above. I was given a breadmaker and a packet of ready to go bread mix and it came out fantastic with a great crumb then it took about another 12 loaves with different amounts of water before I got another good one. Sainsbury's florr was good and one of Aldi's or Lidl's but I can't remember which - it's got a high protein level, about 13%. Allinson's was rubbish. Carr's was really good but pricey.

I just made some rolls with lime pickle and cheese on the top and they're bloody amazing. I really recommend it. Ashoka brand lime pickle is so 'zesty' and I prefer it to Sainsbury's own or Pataks.

Yours is plain boring!!

Old iPhone jokes from Anthony, yey

Usual pitta-patter from him. Probably on the dough-L rather than earning a decent crust.
Poor show, Anthonini Panini.
