Not much to really say, best TV show I've personally ever watched on blu ray at one of its best prices. I've already got it, but hope this helps someone out.

Edit: For some reason Amazon keep dropping the price! Now down to £61.05

been in my amazon wish list for ages.....price getting better, 10% better than last week.

So happy I grabbed this when it was £50

Best price around. Heat

Waiting for £20 or less to bite! It'll get there one day, I've seen it and loved it and have access to it but just want to add it to my collection and at £50+ its way too expensive yet.

I'd happily pay £8 extra for a brand new un-chavved copy, but thanks for the option

Got it "as new" for £50 from them too, but I checked every disc in-store before I handed over the notes. Wouldn't be as confident online for this price 2nd hand. Voted hot.

Science bitch

I'd pay an extra £8 to not have to go into a store and check every disc first,

But thanks again for the option.

do they have extra scenes for longer episodes in these blu rays or deleted scenes ?

In before someone says "Free On Netflix"

This is a hot price for the item, however, (I know this is not for everyone!) when Netflix is just £5.99 a month it seems like a better deal to go for that. Obviously some people prefer the physical copy so I'm still voting hot as it's a good price

OR! Get a Netflix subscription for £5.99 and you WILL watch it all within a month!

Can we just add the netflix option to the title please. Don't know how many more times I can read the same post over and over.

Horribly designed box set, glad I bought the barrel. Heat added nonetheless rather buy new than have a sticky scratched up set with missing UV copy than have to go in Cex

Nearly every TV series thread crops up the same old "watch it on netflix"

Does anyone actually stop and think outside of the box rather than their own viewing arrangements?

Firstly, regardless of whether or not shows are on netflix and you are already a subscriber to netflix there are people out there that like owning things, people pay their hard earned cash collecting stuff like that, that's their prerogative to want to do that.

Secondly, on a more technical note, netflix does not have extras that some people like to watch when owning a boxset, as well as not having Dolby True HD or DTS-Master Audio as it does not have the required bandwidth to carry such uncompressed audio formats, and even on some devices such as the Wii U will only even play in stereo sound (due to Nintendo not wanting to pay for codec licensing of even Dolby Digital 5.1), the Wii U will do 5.1 only in uncompressed surround (PCM) through HDMI into an amp, but there lies the uncompressed problem with netflix.

Thirdly and most importantly with all this, there are still many parts of the UK with borked landline adsl internet connections, whereby properties are either far away from the exchange or have that many data packet errors on them that BT drag their feet in fixing they do not have the required speed to either stream netflix or stream it at quality above 480P.

And do not just take my word for it, whilst netflix is great for casual watching of a still better experience than DVD it currently does not deliver the experience that blu ray delivers to anyone with the equipment to enjoy its full capabilities with audio too.

LInkage

Voted hot, because it is a good price and I do think outside the box (set)

good price. cheapest its been since christmas but I have the feeling that amazon will drop it to the 50 quid mark at some point this year again.

Don't think you'll get the UV Copies for that, the codes would have been used?

Yes, yes I did. Had my attention and then he used the word borked. Is that alright with you or do I need to ask your permission next time I want to have an opinion?

I do believe you mean ignoramus. Case in point.

I don't see how you can have an opinion if you didn't read it. "I don't know" isn't really an opinion... just to be a bit pedantic..

just started watching this on netflix on episode three pretty good so far

One other plus point for Netflix is the ease of viewing - I much prefer instantly starting where I left off, rather than fumbling around with discs, loading screens, menus, having to remember which episode I'm up to.

Also - for anyone aching for another great show to fill the void that BB left, Fargo is absolutely great. It has a similar unpredictability, great characters, great writing, and really fun to watch.

Watching it on Netflix is incomparable. I don't know why more don't see this, or whether they are just trolling.

I've voted hot, but I'll wait for it to come down more before I'll buy.

Congratulations, you made it to 4/5ths of what I wrote then, and probably still its wasted on you, probably do not know your hdmi from your optical or your adsl to your cable if it is "to much to read"

In fact you did not even have to read it, or bother replying.....

I actually think my misspelling with the "anous" bit has more impact.

This could be available cheaper from another website that is unfortunately banned on here for self-promotion. It is £73 delivered there, but there are numerous codes offering £25-30 off your first order if you sign up for a credit order (make sure you pay it off in full!). Therefore could get it for £43-48ish.

Don't think I can name the retailer but many here should know who I am referring to.

May not be for everyone but worth knowing I think. Hope it helps someone.

Heat added.
