I've owned the DLC since it came out and still haven't played it. I really need to get to it. I should probably replay it from the start, maybe on the harder mode.
Great for this price. At least 15 hours of stuff to do.

It's clearly a rushed game. They had to release it in time for the switch.

The campaign was supremely easy. Not a single boss was harder than even a lynel LOL.
The world was absolutely huge, but had nothing in it except shrines and korok seeds.
The UI menu is a clunky mess.
Rupees literally only got you arrows, a few ingredients, and a couple of armor sets.
All the "side quests" are mind numbingly tedious fetch quests.
The voice acting was traumatizing, especially zelda.
The story was mediocre.
The very little music that the game had was mediocre.

I could go on for ages. Its a mediocre open world adventure game with the zelda name. Only filthy casuals think its amazing.

The game was in development for several years originally for Wii U before it got delayed year after year, then they announced it would release for both Wii U and Switch at the launch of the Switch. I remember as I was waiting hoping for a Wii U special edition bundle before the announcement of a dual system release made it apparent that there wouldn't be one! Look up 'Zelda Wii U' that's what the game was known as during its development

I wouldn't say it was rushed, but I would say that it is massively overrated. I personally found the game decent, but not amazing. I also agree with a lot of your points, the final boss particularly was a bit disappointing and as far as I'm concerned there isn't really a story, but extras added on to resemble telling one. Hard mode would probably change things up, though personally I didn't really see value playing the game over. The two others I know of that have this game weren't particularly impressed with it either. Overall I felt it was worth playing, but not at full RRP, that is massively inflated.

I kind of want one but I'm not sure if it's comfy to play games like this with it.

I played a lot of it with an SN30 Pro as my left Joycon got sent off to Nintendo for repair, it was absolutely fine and I continued to even when I got the Joycon back. The motion controls were perfect too.

Good to know that not everyone here just blindly adores this game. I agree, overall I dont regret playing it. What I regret is investing dozens of hours into exploring the nearly completely content-less world. I would have enjoyed it more if the map was 1/5th of the size, but they had to make it ginormous to give off the illusion that there's alot to do besides the main campaign.

It's not my favourite Zelda, I must admit it took some time to grow on me. I'm not keen on a lot of the mechanics, but they're worth persevering with for the exploration, soundtrack. and art style.
I respect Nintendo for trying something new, even though I prefer the more focused games of the n64/gamecube era.

Which Zelda games do you like?

Nice, thought the lack of grips might make it uncomfortable. Still waiting for the SN30 Pro plus to release but looks like they've forgotten about it.
I'll wait til prime day to see if the official pro controller goes on sale, otherwise i think ill just buy the SN/SF30 pro.
