Very good deal here on a brand new Breitling colt Automatic from Chronext. Chronext are fabulous retailers, stores all over Europe and very good customer service. You can order the watch in to the London branch and inspect it before you even decide to buy.

I spoke to Chronext on the phone a few weeks back and they confirmed all new watches come with Manufacturers warranty. If you’re sceptical, call them yourself.

Chronext are now one of, if not the largest watch retailers in Europe.

Lol! So right! I don’t know why they don’t make more effort other than to use stock photos. Here’s one in the flesh.

Beautiful watch good saving
Had a couple of dealings with chronext.
Can only say good things about them.
Is this genuine? Can't find details from other jewellers
Cold. Only goes down to 200M, need 250.

Jokes aside, nice watch. Doubt i could ever justify paying that much for a watch though. Not worn one for about 30 years. Suppose if you would never miss the money then it's a bargain.
Have the older shape, purchased in 1999, still going strong. Serviced every 5 years or so and had no issues with it all, apart from needing to get it repaired after falling drunk through a patio door... But that's a different story
I think I prefer this watch on rubber chronext.co.uk/bre…691

The bracelet endlinks don't fit the shape of the case, and the also have play.

Would be worth it if it held some value or even increased overtime, aside from aesthetics it does nothing that a £250 Sieko automatic diver can do and some would argue the latter does it better! Cold.

I also prefer the rubber I’m with you there. I’d recommend buying it on bracelet though and purchasing the rubber on it own. Purely for when it’s time to sell.

You won’t lose a lot of money on this watch I doubt. The Seiko however you’ll be lucky to get £50 on eBay. A Seiko diver is not Chronometer certified, not Swiss made, nowhere near as much QC. Grand Seiko however you’d have a point.
Bought a colt GMT in 2003/2004

Unlike other Breitling this is 'simple' looking.

Good watch.

Looks better there. The stock photos make the bezel etching look horribly soft and indistinct like something off a £20 timex, looks much sharper in your photo.
i've had my colt since 2004, worn everyday and still works perfectly although never had it serviced (which is more money than it is for my car) always get with the metal strap, looks much better

Totally agree, they always use bad photos. That’s not my photo unfortunately, just a nice one I found with a quick search
Can’t access their website at the mo. Do they deliver or do you have to go to London?
Compared to a Tag you won't lose anything. To compare this to a Seiko ( and I once had over 100 vintage one's ) is just no possible.
This company is in a completely different league.

Its like saying X car is cheaper than Y and does the same takes you from Place A to B. Can not compare luxury brands with budget ones. I vote considering the price of the product not personal opinion about the product.

It's not a personal opinion, the Seiko does exactly the same and is cheaper (and probably more reliable). A good limited edition Seiko Diver will also hold/increase it's value whereas this will loose value from the moment you purchase.

They are certified but not by the Swiss, the Swiss standard is now protected by European patent. A watch dealer would offer you something in the region of £1000 for this watch maybe slightly more/less depending on the condition.

I’ve nothing against Seiko at all, but you don’t know what you’re talking about. Which I don’t care about really, but you’re potentially putting people off of a deal by talking nonsense.

I put pre owned as the watch would be preowned when you come to sell it.

Here we have three Breitling colt autos over 10 years old, all over £1850. There’s more on there too, these are the cheapest.

41476000-7iqbm.jpg
Seikos holding their value and increasing value? I don’t even need to post screenshots of the countless Seiko divers on eBay pre owned for dirt cheap but I will anyway.

41476000-H2RNO.jpg
If you’re going to make comparisons then compare them fairly, compare Seiko with say Victorinox or Citizen because that is the league they are in. Again no hate for Seiko here at all but comparing them to a Breitling is not viable.

My colt is over 16 years old and i'd expect to get well over a grand for it if I sold it so these are a bargain.
I understand some people don't get it, but I like craftmanship and quality built things , if you don't and are happy with your casio fine
That’s an absolute steal
Shame they don’t do home delivery

They do mate I’m sure. You can just choose payment on pickup if you’d like to inspect the watch first.
People that know about watches shouldn't argue with people that don't . You will just end up satisfying them and leave you frustrated.
Anybody that loves watches understands about the heritage of this great company.
If anyone is being put off don't . This watch is a incredible bargain and would last a lifetime with a little care.
Does anybody know if they ever negotiate on price? I'd expect not at this price, but better to know in advance.

Jesus that's horrific, almost looks like the bracelet is 1/2mm too narrow. Don't even see that sh*t on seikos at 1/10th the price.

They’re not unfortunately. I’ve asked this before. By all means call and ask but I doubt you’ll have much luck.

Thanks. Will give it a try. Nothing to lose. Maybe could get slightly extended warranty or something thrown in. Or just a smile. Who knows...

Yes they do with pre-owned. They contact the seller and they decide ultimately - but my experience of them is about 5 years ago so can't say it's current. However I have bought and sold through chronext.
Dam Sold out !!!!
