You’ve seen the servicing cost of the automatic watches? Some will cost more than a car service!

Cheaper at Hugh Rice and they have it in blue (not cheaper, but looks really nice)
Very nice find
Nice watch: but seems to be just over £2000 here (delivered)

That's cheap! Will have import tax on this though!
Chrno24 are better prices on most things but when you start looking into customs charges and guarantees and being an authorised dealer plus fantastic customer service 3k is a lot of money to risk elswhere for me anyway
Taking into account that a couple of people have said it’s cheaper elsewhere, make me wonder it’s not gone cold? Nice watch though
Big watch though at 46mm

Maybe, but there shouldn't be while we are still in the EU
You definitely want a warranty. I can’t remember the version model I have but it came with the same strap but in red. After 6 months of light use the strap started delaminating, returned it but had to go off for a couple of weeks to be inspected and they admitted a manufacturing defect and it came back with a new strap on it plus the old strap.

Roll forward another 6 months and guess what, same problem. Off it goes for another couple of weeks and I complain. Again they agree a defect but this time they offer I pick any strap from their range that will fit. I picked another strap design and it’s been perfect since.

I notice they no longer use this strap type on their newer ranges.

Edit: Forgot to say I bought direct from a Brietling store and their customer service was excellent.

Get a cheap return flight to Basel and pick it up yourself from their office there and wear it on your wrist on the way back.

”We kindly invite you to view and pick up your timepiece in person from our offices in Basel, Switzerland and Hong Kong“

You could always post the empty box etc. back to yourself from Basel.

Lovely watch, good price but disappointing that (despite it's diving credentials) it doesn't come with a strap suitable to go over a wetsuit - or even to get wet. Then again; the water resistance in 99% of the cases is for bragging rights only.

Not entirely the same but I bought a Seiko Kinetic watch to avoid the replacement battery expense in a waterproof watch and after three years the storage battery died, at even more expense

That is an awful awful font used on the bezel.
My Casio f-91w cost less than a tenner and it has an alarm function.

trustpilot is a scam
It staggers me that people would pay this sort of money for a quartz movement!
might be a breitling, but it's still ugly!

Imagine it would cost less at your local jewler to get the battery swapped out.

I like automatic watches, but it's not a budget maintenance option. Servicing costs more than replacing batteries, and the scope of expensive faults that can develop are greater.
Not voting but I think it's an ugly watch and, yes, I have owned Breitling watches.

Chrono24 are not an authorised dealer so the Breitling warranty would not be valid, your warranty would be with the supplier. If you are spending this kind of money it’s best to go though an AD for peace of mind. Goldsmiths are an AD but I prefer to deal with Beaverbrooks. Thanks OP, this is a good deal, it matters not if you don’t like the watch or can’t afford it, the question is, is it a good deal, it certainly is.
