I've been looking for a weather station to replace my old Maplin one and still publish the weather online from wunderground.com. This seems to fit the bill and this is a good deal cheaper than what I can find in the UK. The price includes standard delivery from Germany. I would guess it comes with an EU mains plug so an adapter would be required. Instructions are available in English (see Bresser UK website, bresseruk.com/bresser-wifi-colour-weather-center-with-5-in-1-profi-sensor.html ) for further details. Also available in black for a few euros more. I paid in Euros using a fee free card (e.g. Revolut). Amazon will do their own exchange rate from GBP but I'm guessing the rate isn't as competitive (could be wrong!).
UPDATE: I received delivery within 24 hrs and it comes with both UK and continental plugs and the manual is in English and German.

Ah, looking at the German Amazon page in English, this is an impressive device. It isn't just telling you the weather according to some far away weather service. This is actually your own hi tech weather monitoring station to record the exact weather where you are and you I guess auto-upload the results to Weather Underground. You use this i guess to help others make the weather forecast then by making local weather measurements a lot more accurate. If so this is impressive citizen science and a public spirited way of contributing to your local and wider community. Kudos.

Surely this is now obsolete when compared to things like Google’s home devices?

or even a low end android tablet that’s just left plugged in

I think there's a certain charm to it. And if your job or location require constant weather checking this could be handy. It's also nice not to have everything from the internet giants.

Google or tablet alone doesnt give you the local rainfall, wind, temperature, pressure etc.

Also without people having these, you would only have the data from the closest airport or meteorological station which can be scarce

I have the same but without the connectivity. It was a present, but if it was my choice, with the connectivity like this one is all the way

I think this deal is getting some cold simply because a lot of people don't realise what it is because they didn't click through and read up. Well I think it's a brilliant deal for a wonderful device. I'd love having my own weather station. It's a very caring thing to do for the community. Hopefully one day I'll have the beans to afford it.

Slowly but surely becoming the standard of this community, sadly. But every now and then people like you click, learn and appreciate

Have a lovely new year when it comes!
Decent bit of kit and well worth it.
I've posted a deal where all the comments received were positive. Despite this, the deal got very cold. This one seems to be the same, only positive comment, but it's getting cold. I do not know anything about this product, but based on the comments, clearly it is a good deal. I wish people read the comments before voting, or stop voting if they have no clue about the product.

I wonder whether the picture is causing the problem- to those who can't be bothered reading the description, but feel obliged to vote on every deal, it probably seems as if what you're buying is a tablet-like device that picks up readings from the internet, rather than that you're actually buying the stuff that does the measuring...
I like a weather station but wouldn’t pay a lot recently bought one of Amazon came with 3 outdoor temp sensors, and then a indoor screen with indoor temp gauge.

I’ve got 1 temp sensor outside, 1 in my van and the last one in my garage.

I store paint so it’s nice to know the various temps and then I can WiFi a oil radiator to come on to keep paint sundries warm.
I love my weather station and it cost a lot more than this so the OP's one is a bargain !
Cold - well, according to my weather station it is

Same here being ex met, and I would expect it to be pretty good being german, it just needs the right exposure
Good find op. Heat+

It's a bit more expensive getting from here. Instruction can be found here.
Don't need this to tell me it's raining

It connects directly to Wunderground and another service I can’t think of at the moment via a wifi connection to upload data. There is no way to physically connect this device directly to a laptop or whatever via usb.
Weathercloud is the other. I've just set mine up and the wind speed didn't seem right. Reading reviews on amazon Germany it looks like it's a common problem. You can change the windspeed value, along with some other settings, by connecting to it through your router. Instructions aren't the best imo. Thought my display was quite hard to read, then found out the up and down adjusted the contrast
