I was going to order a Nutribullet, but came across this. Extremely excellent reviews/feedback from customers amazon.co.uk/gp/…_cr (just ordered one for myself).

Product Description

Breville Blend-Active

One-Person Portion Blending

The Breville Blend-Active is an individual-sized blender that comes with two stylish sports bottles, giving you one-person-portion fruit smoothies, breakfast drinks, protein and sports nutrition drinks and iced juices with a one-touch action. Take your Blend-Active to work or the gym, or keep it with you in your home.

Quick and Easy -- Just Blend and Go
Pop your favourite ingredients into the Breville Blend-Active 600 ml sports bottle and attach the blade cap. The Blend-Active one-touch action means you just pop the bottle on to the base, twist to lock and then press the button to blend your drink. The Blend-Active will blend a smoothie or a shake in seconds. Once you have blended to your liking, replace the blade lid with the leak-proof lid. Your blended beverage is then ready to take with you wherever you go; to work, to the gym or with you in the car.

Making blending fast and simple, the Breville Blend-Active is ideal for the health conscious to make homemade sports nutrition and protein shakes. With a small, but powerful chopper you can crush ice and chop tough fruits or nuts, meaning you can make delicious iced-juice slushies, extra thick smoothies and breakfast drinks. Unlike protein shakers, the Blend-Active's design prevents powder collecting around the edges for an ultra-smooth drink.

Two bottles included.

Removable blades.

One-touch control.

Crushes ice.

Portable Bottles to Blend and Go
The Breville Blend-Active comes with two 600 ml sports bottles, which have measuring guides on the side, fit most car and bike cup holders and have a wide spout for thick drinks. Made from Eastman Tritan copolyester, the bottles are lightweight, impact and shatter-resistant, odour, taste and stain-resistant and you can use them again and again.

If you want blended drinks on the move, the Breville Blend-Active is at home in your kitchen, but is your best friend as you hit the gym or work.

They are hot I paid £30 christmas thanks for letting me know

Does this do milkshakes?

I can relate to this as it has, and I quote..'...a small, yet powerful chopper'...lol

Have one it's excellent. Don't waste money on a nutrition bullet! Hot!

It's the normal price virtually everywhere
Had 3 break on me , got a nutribullet now
Probably ok as long as you don't want to crush frozen fruit

Bought one of these a week a go, love it! Rated hot.

Hot! I love mine and had no problem blending frozen fruit or ice. I bought the family one from Amazon for £29 (current price still). It was worth paying the extra for me because you get 2 x 600ml and 2 x 300ml bottles

Well in that case you cant really compare a £100 product to a £30 one. I mean I have gone through extensive reviews on various sites and videos to buy this due to the fact, it does what it says for under the budget and at £20 is really a steal. In saying that the nutri bullet annihilates anything

I bought one of these last year and its been used daily and is still going strong. I've used frozen fruit and its been okay. Its not the best at harder veg but I wouldn't be without it now.

whats the differnce between the VBL075 and this one VBL062?

anyone?

I use mine with frozen fruit no problem.

A nutri bullet is better obviously but for the price this is excellent

These are really good. It blends frozen fruit easily so I don't understand the grief it is getting. I have never had an issue. Just whack in a bit of liquid to help it along. Brilliant for cocktails too if the health smoothie option isn't your thing.

I'm a personal trainer - this is actually good and not rubbish like people are suggesting. For £20 you get two non stick bottles to which you blend everything in and then simply switch the lid - real easy.

Yes, it's not as powerful as the nutri-bullet, but I use it daily for a mix fresh fruit, milk/water, ice and sometimes chunks of chocolate. Never had an issue - it blends well and within 20/30 seconds if not quicker. Ice has never been an issue as my niece and nephew love using it for smoothies.

I brought this as I wasn't sure I would last in the 'fad' of juicing and wanted to try it. So far it's great and I would only upgrade now if adding something really hard like raw carrots (apples, pears etc work perfectly fine in this - i chop a whole apple into quarters and dump it in and its mixed in seconds)

there great. frozen fruit and ice is not a problem. my missus uses it daily (no issues), and I have protein shakes, frozen banana and Ice shakes. they mix with ease.

I use frozen fruit/ice cubes etc in mine without issue and it's over a year old now, only silly people burn the motor out

We use this more than our nutribullet and ninja, fantastic thing for the price, this is the normal price though

2,500 5 star reviews..rubbish comment more like

This is a fab little machine. Bought one last year and use it constantly for things. Better than my friends Nutri by miles which broke after a few months so needed a replacement. I use mine far more than she uses hers. Go for it if you don't have one already.

Heat from me, I got one from sainsburys a few weeks back for £16.

Great little unit and although not quite as powerful as the £80+ it's still makes a mean smoothie

Great piece of kit this. Got mine last year for £18 near Christmas, use it for protein shakes to add some fruit to it. Brilliant

I bought one about 6 months ago at £16 and it is a bargain..
Friends got a Nutribullet and it does the same job except it crushes seeds to nothing and makes a smoothie really silky, whereas the Blend-active will leave little bits of seeds intact..
To be honest you don't feel seeds going down when you drink anyway as they are just too small

This is normal price though!

Forgot to mention Friend with the Nutribullet way prefers my bottles over his as has the drinking spout and lock-back stopper, far easier to hold too..

Buy cheap, buy twice or even three times as above.

Bullet all the way...

Voted cold as I paid 19.99 at Amazon months ago.......some folks get excited about a product they bought and post it as a deal when in fact it's normal price....it's about deals. ..not what products are GREAT because you bought one..... :-)

do these in morrisons with two bottles for £19.
great buy. use every day tomato protein shake. Chuck a banana and strawberry in with Mmmmmmmm
or ice for that cool shake.

unfortunately voted cold as not the cheapest price about. great product nit price.

My sister in law has one, loves it

I have one great for soft fruit veg but struggles bad with ice/frozen fruit but what do you expect for the price still hot

Coming up at £24 - charging for delivery... What am I doing wrong?

To anyone who has got one, what recipie book did you get and how do you make smoothies?

Just google it, you'll get hundreds of smoothie recipes.

Put your main ingredient followed by smoothie and away you go

Try 1 banana, 1 or 2 weetabix, some ice and top it off with milk for a filling breakfast smoothie that'll keep you full past lunchtime

Bargain, have 3 of these 1 for home, 1 for my work one for fiances work.

We did manage to get one with 4 bottles (inc 2 little ones) for £20 from tesco but was a 1 off offer. Still at bargain at £20

I have one of these. They're great!
