Cold... brought this over 6 months ago for near enough the same price at …Cold... brought this over 6 months ago for near enough the same price at Currys, standard rubbish Black Friday deal from them...Also brought the toaster which isn’t the best quality and you can’t use either side, you always have to use the one on the right side first and then if you want more toast the left hand side.

Where did you bring it to? I’m intrigued.
Boiling water in a plastic kettle... simply a no no!

Very nice looking kettle. Was just looking at this on Amazon for a lot more. Heat added.
Thanks, OP! Good deal. 3000w rapid boil, available in black/cream/red/silver/white! (Didn't see rose gold on their site)
I think I like the black one...Same price on eBay free delivery too

The impressions range on Amazon is very similar and cheaper. I want a 2 slice toaster
I have this kettle and the matching toaster heat from me

That's a good price but prefer the design on the curve range.

Handy if your lazy 😁
Shame about the gold handle looks a bit odd to me.
Awesome, thank you, purchased with toaster, free delivery as well!
Is it time for a new kettle and toaster??
Been waiting for this to come down in price.
Personally morphy Richards do a simmilar range which is much nicer and same price. These felt so plastic and cheap when we looked at them in store. Didn't fill me with confidence.
My goodness, boilling water will never look so good.

I think that's hideous, the rose gold handle is wrong, it's it had been all grey and silver that would look better. I'm also someone who wouldn't use a plastic kettle. I only opened this because for £35 I assumed you got a toaster given other similar kettles are around £20. Obviously others love it.
Nice design! Tempted for the kettle, toaster and the coffee machine!

Anyone know of any microwaves that come close to the design?

£80 notes for a kettle lol
Seen these when in store the other day. Quite a nice kettle.
Why are they all plastic these days? I want a metal or glass only Kettle, can't find one, they all have some plastic level window.... why do I need a window? I can see how much I'm putting in when I open the lid. Also what's with the plastic limescale filter? Just make it metal...

Had the white one and toaster. The lid on the kettle wouldn't stay on properly and pops off while boiling. Burned my hand a bit. The lid is sort of springy clip in.

limescale is fine, the water is filtered through the rock naturally any ways. I don't get this war against it and why everyone wants to filter, I mean firstly the filter one gets rid of the natural minerals, it doesn't get rid of the chlorine and other crap. If people are so against fluoride and chlorine.... write to your council.
It’s almost always £35 on curry’s. they are just listing the original rrp again making it look like a sale lol

Are u sure limescale is fine? I don't think so bro! I would rather prevent rather than sorry.
God.. I don't need this, but I bought it anyway.
Lovely - great find
What £35 for A kettle ?
Got this kettle last year for £28 - it really is lovely
How was this ever worth the full price?
I find kettles age quite after only a couple of years. Can anyone confirm if you get a long life out of this? Like others, need to justify the outlay when can get other 3000w kettles for just under £20
How could a £35 kettle deal get to 800+ degree?

Why's that? Do you think it'll melt the plastic?

Plastic makes the most sense for an electric kettle, unless there's a metal exterior for looks, coupled with with some thermal insulation to stop it getting to high temperatures that could burn people.

Why would you want a thermally conductive metallic material for a kettle? Do you like getting burned?

We have this toaster and kettle and they are both really good and easy to keep clean. We get a lot of comments from visitors that they look good.
the price is fair however a few months ago I got mine direct from Breville for £32 each as they were on offer and then there was a discount code too
I have this kettle and matching toaster with it. Both are excellent.
Each to their own but that is one nasty looking kettle IMO.
