Brilliant!!! Sent it to my colleagues
The problem with high power kettles is that the minimum fill level has to be quite high, so if you want one cup you waste a lot of electricity.

Have fun cleaning the dust and grime from the outer base of your poorly designed nice looking kettle

Some fill a flask with boiled water to use for hot drinks throughout the day. I also like that kettles can be 1L now, ideal for one or two people.

Ever heard of E-Cloth? Probably not. All done in a jiffy. No chemicals needed, either. Everything spotlessly clean and shiny in no time
Fab price for top kettle

Ever had a well designed kettle?
I guess not
Have fun with that cleaning.
I'll be spending my time doing far more interesting things than cleaning my well designed kettle, but that's just me

Must have nice soft water. Where I live after 3 years with regular descaling our kettle looks like a chalk block!
I'd buy it from Robert Dyas simply based on this advert... twitter.com/nic…=09
Scored 70% in Which

There are a few issues with using this kettle. The surface of the handle is polished and slippery, so the kettle doesn't feel secure when you're holding it - and, as the handle is very slim, it's awkward to hold even if your hands are small. It's also hard to pour all the water out, so you'll have to tip the kettle to awkward angles to remove every last drop.
There are a few gaps around the filter, which means that you might find the odd bit of limescale in your cup of tea. The filter is simple enough to remove and replace for cleaning, though, and it can go in your dishwasher's cutlery rack.

Min fill is just 250ml which is pretty good.

I actually live in a very hard water area, have to filter my drinking water
Had mine for over a year and not a problem with it. Would recommend it. Also better price than I managed to get it for. Heat from me.
I've had this kettle for a few years. It's not the quietest, but it does boil a full kettle fairly quickly. I don't have any issues with the handle or pouring. It's worth the money.

I've had this for nearly 3 years. Really good kettle, there is no minimum fill line on it and I normally just fill it until I see the water on the sight glass which is perfect for a cup of tea.

Not sure what a commenter was going on about it being hard to clean, mines has never needed more than a quick wipe.
