I love these butties post-pub... They're horrible to clean though!

This ones easy to clean, ive spilled cheese all over it while grilling and it peels off with just the use of fingers.

i got mine delivered today and i only ordered it 2 days ago..i have to say it looks better than in the pic and it does the job perfectly

I wish you 2 hadn't said that... I may well shed a few Great British Pounds in order to put pounds of a different sort on.

And I'm not talking Cypriot!!!

I use my George Formby grill

Are the grill plates detachable? (ie. chuck 'em in the dishwasher)

Love these toasters.... Well worth the money and great toasties Hot hot hot

Ditto.

Cut a part-baked baguette into halves lengthways and widthways, stuff with prosciutto and mozarella and pop them on the George Foreman for a few minutes. Works every bit as well as a dedicated sandwich press IMHO.

nice find, ordered one and heat added

You have to use codes P6TP (10% off) and SHA1 (free delivery).

Nice deal, ordered mine with Topcashback for the extra 4% off.

Heat and rep added.

Jeez how they gonna make a penny on this with all the codes and cashback? Heaven forbid if I ever own an online shop that any of my goods appear on HUKD's! :-D

ordered! great thank you! Was looking at this on Tesco direct - £34.25 there!

Actually it just makes you realise how much their markup must be that they can still make a profit after all the deals!

Just what I was looking for. Many thanks, heat added.

I bought one of these about 3 months ago at £40. Absolutely best sandwich press ever and at this price a must buy. Believe me, you will not be disappointed. Cleaning requires a wipe with paper towel and that's it done. No mess at all. No hard crust or corners to break yer teeth like the triangle ones.

*** Sorry*** I bought the T40 version, looks very similiar. I think this is just a smaller version and if it performs as well as its big bro then it should be worth the cash.

Good find, just ordered with quidco 4% calculates to £17.28 inc del. :-D

Toastie heat and rep added...the time is right for the site owners to generously reward kind chaps taking the time to search and post details on here.

Meanwhile for ideas what are the favourite toasties which you could make using this device.

I think for some of the deals they are actually losing money... remember that most shops with staff with brains will make sure that vouchers are only used for full priced items.

i got one of these from sainsburys for 12.50

I have to say i am so pleased i bought this product. I already used it a couple of times today..its made from steel and looks very strong! Much better than the sandwich toaster i have that makes 2 triangle shaped pieces.

Upon checkout the total after vouchers was £18, When the e-mail receipt is received the Total states £20 with the small print stating

"Delivery Information
Price and delivery charge will be as specified on your order form. If you have used a promotional code your discount will be applied when your order is processed."

can anyone confirm if £20 was stated on the e-mail confirmation order.

' Total discounts today: -£2.00 '

If you haven't got this then your 10% code must not have worked.

Yes, my Topcashback has tracked at 4% as well.

Its not letting me use the codes, both of them. Anyone else?

is this meant to take 20 minutes to heat up? the red light didn't go out on ours after 20 mins - have a feeling we have a duffer..... wonder how they are on returned items?

thanks I appreciate your reply but the green light has yet to appear - it stays on red and has heated up the worktop! Think I will be taking a trip to Debenhams!

Mine arrived to day with reciept £18, so with quidco comes to £17.40, not too bad.

Well my credit card got billed £18 and I also got the 4% Topcashback. But, frankly, I wish I hadn't bothered. This seems to be the stupidest idea ever. You put the sandwich in (cheese and tomato), close the lid, wait about five minutes, and then open lid to reveal a nicely toasted, completely flat, sandwich and a puddle of cheese surrounding it. Am I doing something wrong? Stupidest invention ever if I am not.

I'm used to the ones where the sandwich is sealed all around. It's my own fault for not checking!

mine didn't work at all, took it back to Debenhams today and got a different version, it doesn't seal either, I must admit that is how I remember the sandwich toastie machines from ages ago!
