What's wrong with a kettle?

Mrs has limited strength in hands and wrists, she can lift a cup full of hot water most days but not a full kettle without some risk. Got one of these, now she can make the coffee again!

I've had one of these for 5 years. Great.
Looks like its still 44 online.

Yes, this is only in-store
£30 on Amazon too, but good deal :-) heat added
Be aware it delivers a mug full of water at a time so not good if you only want a small cup unless you pour from a mug into the small cup, defeats the energy saving benefits but good if you use mugs. Hopefully they will make a more intelligent version.
Can anyone comment about limescale build up. I live in a very hard water area.

There is another, more expensive, version with adjustable cup size, "stop" function and a larger capacity jug.

These are quicker and only boil one cup at a time so great for people who live on their own.
Had 3 of these last year. All leaked water, all sent back. Gave up after that. Clearly had manufacturing issues.
Got one from Amazon for £30 abut 3 months ago

I use a kettle if i'm brewing for 2 or more but this is quite good for one if you are in a hurry

Delivers about 80% of the water I usually pour for 1 cup of tea and it does taste a bit funny but acceptable as It's very handy.

Mine does not leak but Amazon would refund inside a year anyway

Same. Had two that both developed a leak at the base of the clear plastic bit on the back.

Bought the VKT124 which has proved to be much better.

They replaced my first one but the replacement also developed a leak. As a year had passed by then I was stuck with a useless device.

Pretty sure I paid £25 years ago.
