Ok its my birthday soon so started getting the birthday offers from various companies in my e-mail account.
'Free drink' this,'free bottle' that, are all in my inbox but all mean buying a meal to qualify.
One offer that stands out in this mass of offers is the Brewers Fayre Bonus club birthday offer.
Why?
From the e-mail:
"
Happy Birthday
(My name)
Treating you to a free meal is our way of saying “Happy Birthday” to you as a Bonus Club member.
All you need to do is show us the code below along with a swipe of your Bonus Club card when you order"
Most that do this require another meal to be paid for.
But if I am reading the T&Cs right I could walk up and get a free main (Order tap water with the meal) and simply walk out having had a free main:

Go into any Brewers Fayre and pick up the leaflet, fill in a few details - job done . Been going on for at least a couple of years ,but never hurts to post a reminder .
Got mine in the restaurant about a year or so back then activated it online.
I've had the card for a couple of years now , got bonus points (exchange for vouchers for money off meals ) ,free Birthday meals etc . Just a normal loyalty promotion . Nothing earthshattering - But hardly a risk .
Far too much effort. I only get free stuff when I don't have to move or talk to anyone
I presume you are a gamer then ? You really should try real life -you might enjoy it . .
No that involves leaving the house to get a console
.
It does not state that the free one needs someone buying one. Ok a bit sad going on your own but a free meal is a free meal.
Worse than W/spoons ?
At least in spoons you stand a chance of getting served in a reasonable time (even though good is crap). Last time I was in BF took over an hour just to get a starter.
