Bride & Prejudice: Bollywood meets Hollywood... And it's a perfect match!

From the team behind international smash hit Bend It Like Beckham, comes a Jane Austen adaptation like never before. Pride & Prejudice gets the Bollywood treatment and the result is a spectacular fusion of East meets West. Austen's classic love story unfolds in a riot of colour and emotion, song and dance that jet-sets from rural India via London to Los Angeles.

A must see for lovers of musicals, Bollywood and ultimately for romantics everywhere, the warmth, affection, humour and enthusiasm of director Gurinder Chadha's interpretation is inescapable.

The Wedding Planner: Your wedding day. It must be glorious. It must be perfect. It must be the most memorable, idyllic and overwhelmingly love-filled occasion of your entire life. And there's only one person who can make this dream become a glowing reality - the wedding planner.

But this time, the one who makes everyone else's dreams come true, A-list San Francisco wedding planner Mary Fiore (Jennifer Lopez), has finally found the man of her dreams - or has she?

While celebrating her newest and most lucrative account - the wedding of Internet tycoon Fran Donelly (Bridgette Wilson)- Mary is rescued from a near-fatal collision with a runaway dumpster by handsome pediatrician Steve Edison (Matthew McConaughey). After spending the most enchanting evening of their lives together, Mary thinks she's finally found a reason to believe in love. What she doesn't know is that cupid and her career are about to collide head-on...

Suzie Gold: As Suzie Gold's sister prepares to get married, it seems only natural that Suzie's thoughts should turn to the state of her own love life. While her doting but dysfunctional family desperately want her to be happy - preferably by finding a good Jewish boy to settle down with - Suzie meets Darren, a boy from work and they start a heady romance. But the relationship sours when Suzie finds herself unable to bring him home, worried that he won't match up to her family's exacting (double) standards.

Heartbroken, Suzie begins to question her role in life. She meets Antony Silver, who is, perfect husband/son-in-law material who quickly assumes, as does her family, that she will marry him. While the pressure builds for her to tie the knot, Suzie is forced to decide what she really wants out of her life - whether to follow the path laid out for her, or to make her own way through uncharted territory.

Off-topic rant alert but I think it's funny when they put these random films together in a box set. This one's obviously very girly but whenever I see a set that might otherwise appeal, I always have one of the movies already!

Know what you mean there PoisonJam.

But, good price for 3 x DVDs
