Since when did airport security become an 'add-on', like most things on a ryanair flight?
I usually pay £3.00 for the pleasure of the rubber glove treatment
Another legal British way to steal from citizens.
Fast track is pointless in Bristol most of the time.

PM me if you need a hand!
Normal price is only £3.95 still cannot see it being worth it for Bristol also now the kids have gone back even more reason to just use the normal gates.

Bit of a p*ss take really as they open less gates so you pay for fast track when they could just open more gates, i asked before at luton why they couldn't open more gates they said no staff i said well take them from fast track and you will have more staff i just got a blank look.

Three quid makes you less of a security risk then ?

About time this customer raping industry had a shake up

The fast track through passport control is the same if not worse, the thing is the person/persons on fast track are taken off normal gates get paid the same money but the airport are making a profit from a legal requirement that we all have to go through.
This is just yet another way of extorting money from ordinary customers although it's tempting as I'd have to say from bitter experience the time taken to get through security at Bristol is often way too long. That said, it's right up there with the toll roads that are now in place at a number of airports so that it costs you to drop off/pick up passengers.
Let’s hope they invest your £3 so there’s no need for fast track

Just an idea
Only flown once from Bristol and didn't see the point, flight was early in the morning so not very busy.
I seen longer ques for buses than at bristol airport security !
This is a great scam, go over the top with airport security against passengers, whilst the rest of the airport is open house! Cause a backlog and charge to skip around it?????? P.S. Bristol is such a Micky Mouse airport with staff that look like they have been sucking lemons.
Never been asked to remove shoes, or had hands swabbed, when using Premium lane.
Something that happens most of the time when using Standard Security.
So well worth the payment.

Last time I flew from Bristol I paid for fast track but due to our fancy dress (burqa) and my choice of carry on luggage (parachute) I almost missed the flight.
Fast it was NOT.

Because it's my experience, why else would I say it?
I refuse to pay extra for this, and I wish everybody else would do the same.

Because so many people like to over exaggerate
Is this what this great country has been reduced to? "Add on" Britain, I mean I get the likes of Ryanair and will gladly avoid like last night's kebab but what in the name is this? How does this even exist as a thing!!

Totally agree Bristol is a breeze of an airport. An airport that is even better to fly through is Southend, get through trivially every time. (Flew to Kosice from Southend a week ago,and Kosice is even better. Landed and had a bag checked but from landing to walking outside the airport and catching a bus into the city took about 5 minutes passport check and picking up checked bag included.)

Ah, but you get to save money compared to people willing to pay for going through security.
Years ago when I used to travel abroad a lot for work that was the sort of thing that you came across in Third World Countries, They didn't call it "Fast Track" though they called it "Baksheesh".

UK in free fall now ........... !!!

Blank look = them thinking 'do we explain "we get paid for fast track, whereas you get to wait longer in a queue if you don't pay for fast track, and we don't care how long you have to wait" or is it just not worth the effort?'. Seriously, they get paid anyway, you get the choice of paying or waiting, up to you.

How about paying for first class post? Paying to skip the queue in Disneyland? Business class on a plane? You usually have the option to pay more for faster/better service. It's not really comparable to bribery because it's neither immoral nor illegal.

Why do you people argue with the staff? I very much doubt the people on the floor make staffing decisions.

You. You were moaning at the staff why they couldn't open the gate. Just leave them alone, if you have a problem speak the organ grinder not the monkeys, and the organ grinder is not going to be on the floor.

By 'you people' I mean those who cry at staff because they can't get their own way.
