Never been but at £14.77 for Adult & Child to go we thought we would try sometime in the holidays.

It’s 4/5 on Facebook m.facebook.com/bri…_GB

Mixed reviews here think 3.5 tripadvisor.co.uk/Att…tml

Thought price good so will give it a whirl. Plus kids love nature. Depends if your kids enjoy Aquariums & interested in animals, hearing talks & watching feeds. Lots to do in the vicinity too

Far from it mate, i like in Bristol and have been here several times.
Has a great central tank of British off shore temperate species and a nice Malawi tank but personaly i can watch the tropical marine tank for ages, its huge.

I just cant help pointing out silly things.

The admission is for all day, so get there at opening, have a good look round then you can visit other things in the area (M shed has different things on) have lunch then pop back later to see the feeding and bits you missed.
Not worth even this discounted price as you can probably walk around and see all there is to see in 5 mins!

We did the Zoo early in the week. Not been to the Aquarium as yet but probably next week. Let them run around Harbourside & fountains behind the Aquarium. Enjoy whatever you choose

Thank you, we’ve done a lot of the Gromit trail around the centre & splashed around on the waterfront before zaza bazaar for lunch, now just debating which treat to do for my son’s birthday!

Have you walked along Harbourside by M shed? About 5 Gromits to see including 2 at M shed, one you can press a button & moves.

You will spend longer time at the zoo than Aquarium. Heard good things about the Wild Place so may give that a try one day & take a picnic, football etc and spend day there

I’ve not heard of Wild place - I’ll definitely google it! Thank you for the heads up
Good deal for those around Bristol.
Was thinking of going there in the next couple of days! Anyone know what the parking is like?

We never park. Depending on where you are coming from, how many of you there are and how long you will want to stay the park & ride may be good option.

There’s an underground car park in the Harbourside area behind the Aquarium or try Wapping Wharf which is better priced especially at weekends but always packed! It’s by M shed museum on the other side of the harbour.

Or use a site like Parkopedia to see offers on parking in the area.

Don’t forget it’s the Bristol balloon fiesta this weekend - parking & travel may be a nightmare unless you’re a local!

WRONG

Nope, not wrong. It's quite simply a glorified fish tank inside a premises
I’ve been. Even with kids for £1, it’s over priced. Much better things to spend your money on in and around Bristol.

Just ask yourself - "do I really need another mouth to feed?". Simple.

They are not going up tonight. We had been waiting. Will watch night glow instead
Its a nice attraction but a very short experience, we were in and out in 90mins and consider ourselves to be a pretty typical family. I think theonly way you could make this a longer experience is to physically stand and watch the fish for longer periods of time, however lets be honest...a few minutes at each tank/exhibit is more than enough. We paid full price to get in, leaving us feeling very shortchanged. Therefore it may be a better experience when paying slightly less.
Appreciating all the comments on here, I have my daughter by myself for the weekend and was planning on taking her to the aquarium as I don't drive and figured it would be easiest to get to on public transport. Any other suggestions for good things for young kids in and around Bristol appreciated

Don’t know how old your daughter is but you could go to the Zoo. Bristol Zoo has free child with every adult offer which I posted on here which is also easy to get to on the Bus, train or walking. Lots of cheaper things to do also in the area or free depending on age. Enjoy

It’s my son’s 8th birthday today so we’re off to Bristol zoo, then following more of the Gromit trail... we’ve found 20+ so far & my little lad absolutely loves using the free map to work out where we’re heading next! We’re certainly seeing parts of Bristol that we’ve never seen before!
