I need something like this but WAAY higher, enough for a 10 year old to stand underneath. Thinking about making one but cant find any solid plans online.

Can't you just buy this, and replace the main 4 posts with longer ones? Use them as a template, should be relatively straightforward.

Not as cheap but size is right (presuming your 10yr old isn't freakishly tall.

Try googling high sleeper beds
Typical. Was looking for months for something like this. That's a very good price so heated.

We nearly went for one of those BFCsider advised Wayfair beds but the look a bit clunky. We just go this loft bed and really like the style and it's reasonable quality.

It's a tiny room and went for the smaller 180 X 80cm size but it's been a struggle to find a mattress that fits. And the kicker is that it's designed for 10cm mattresses and there's no spring mattresses shallower than 19cm. Basically my kid has about 8cm of guardrail and I'm debating whether to add an extra plank or something.

About 130cm clearance underneath so 10-yr old might struggle.
I've brought a cheap Wayfair bed before, they're terrible quality. (Didn't vote)

If you need a good-quality readymade one, I'd suggest one of these, depending on the size needed:

Thanks guys these are all great suggestions, the ebay ones look pretty much the same as the wayfair ones for a tiny bit cheaper.
Anyways..... im a bit nervous about the strength of this pine, looks pretty fragile/thin. I was thinking about using 2x4's but I guess these would look nicer.

The eBay ones (although seems to have disappeared all of a sudden!) are much more customisable depending on your needs - you can specify any height you need (within a given range), where the ladder goes, sloping/vertical ladders, with/without shelf, etc.
I need one in adult size, for when I’m in the Dog house

Cheaper to buy an actual dog house.

Try this, OK it's American but we won't hold that against them. To make it higher just increase the length of the uprights and the ladder sides accordingly. Free high rise bed plans

I think Wayfair have sourced this bed from this company, they do all shapes and sizes. We've bought from them before, good quality
Great price, voted hot
Anybody know if you could put the steps at either end when assembling?
Brought one of these...be warned quality is not that good.
