Book online and you can save on the adult tickets too... depends what dates you go as to how much you save (20% at the moment, but up to 29% out of peak season). Take off the charity donation to 'save' another 10%. :3

I would love to take my baby boy to the zoo on mother's day
Thanks very much for this pointer. Went yesterday and wouldn't have known about this offer if I hadn't seen this. Bloomin' cold though!
Gert lush :)
isn't this basically "women go free" since they can go with a full paying adult too?
Might get this for the birds mum with the hope when they see her they notice she is missing and take her back
Wheres my Monkey!! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmfIlI4M1Yg Bristol Zoo!
What about adults? AGEIST!
Do you get the child back out again?
It's a good offer, OP, just wondering - does that mean you have to cart the damn thing round the zoo with you? I'm guessing it won't be long before "M-u-u-u-m, can you hold this" ;)
The baby gorrilla is adorable there, worth going for that alone
also you can get it without the pumpkin from different sites like great western and national express, but its a nice idea anyway
]money problems according to wiki.. :(
ooh yeah paignton zoo is fab bristol isnt that bad
Nooooo! Wrong, wrong, wrong :w00t:
Anyone with the free dayoutuk membership can print a voucher from there as well.
Bristol has to be the worst zoo in the country imo, check out paignton zoo.
Endangered species/breeding programs ARE an excuse for Zoo's to continue to exist. A high proportion of animals in zoos are not endangered. Most animals show signs of mental torture. Zoo's are around to make money..........not for the love/conservation of animals. I'm no tree hugger, far from it, but I could never visit a zoo.
That old argument. Endangered species animal breeding programs, inner city education about animals/environment, charitable animal causes vs the zoo haters. The battle continues.....:viking:
What a nice day out.............watching animals caged for your enjoyment.
I went to bristol zoo recently, i was surprised how well it was kept, wasnt scruffy at all? Rather modern in fact. I think a lot of money has been spent updating it. The gardens and flowers are superb and a lot better than when I last went some years back. Nothing better than walking through them with an ice cream to visit the monkeys. Shows are rather well done too, found them to be most educational. Its not the biggest zoo in the world but i think they have a good variety and have done it rather well considering the space. Though stay clear of the creepy crawlies section, the bird eating spiders in particular. Yuk! You can even sit on a perspex loo and see a live black widow spider dangling between your legs. (Make of that what you will) Recommended and heat added...
my favourite zoos/parks are longleat - watching people's cars being wrecked by the monkeys..lol! marwell - yo can get close to alot of less dangerous animals cotsworld paington bristol -still good tho
wish I still lived there, used to love going to Bristol Zoo, I can remember the Polar bears!
