For a moment I was a bit sad I bought it more expensive , but each filter costs approximately £3 pounds so Lidl still has a better deal

I've just ordered the Marella, which has a flip top pour through lid for easy single handed filling. With the Aluna, you have to remove the whole lid. Just my personal preference.

"reduces... limescale"

Hardly! You need something more advanced than a water filter to reduce limescale in the water. On the Brita website it doesn't claim to reduce limescale from the water, only that it prevents build-up of limescale in the filter itself.

Well hukd downloaded the description from somewhere, and a RO installation is not an option when you stay in a rented flat!

Does anyone know if any of these remove fluoride by any chance?
