Is this all sainsburys?

not mine priced as £13

Filters for these not cheap.

Given one as a present and supposed to change filter every week. When I priced them up decided to use up filters and now use without filters.

Ive had two of these. Lid hinges broke within days, just as well given the price of filters. A good idea poorly executed IMO.

Nationwide?

product for muppets

My other half got one of these on special offer in sainsburys a few months ago thinking he could use it for the gym. We're very unimpressed with it. Although it works out pretty expensive with the weekly filter changes I wouldn't mind that so much if the bottle was fit for purpose. It's not - the bottle leaks and you have to suck rather than drink from it to get even the minimum amount of water out of it. Definitely not suitable for sports use so I wouldn't recommend it. For anyone thinking of buying this product it has a lot of reviews on amazon - about 50% give it 5 stars so obviously some people like it. There are a lot of 1 star reviews too though.

This and many other filters are massively wasteful.

I'd you really need filtered water, get an under counter kit with tap. The cartridges have standard connectors so no extra cost because of a proprietary fit. You also get more carbon and coconut inside so wasting less outer casing than with the other kit.

Personally I've found these to be really useful on holiday in the States and Europe as the water is generally safe but tastes horrible. The discs are expensive but if you are out and about and don't want to carry more than one bottle of water I think its an ideal product. I use it in the office without a filter inserted as there is a filtered tap there. £4.50 is a great price for a smart looking bpa free bottle anyway.

Like dida80 says you have to suck to get water out, didn't like that

Good initial price but the replacement filters are expensive.

I really do not see the need to use filters when the tap water is good enough in the first place.

I have got this one and it is pretty good (without filter ofcourse).

depends where in the UK you live.in London for example water definitely tastes awful,it's safe but tastes almost similar to sea water, you just can't drink it without feeling bad.also has nasty cloudy stuff noticeable in tea,coffee.disgusting.
Other areas I've been too though had perfectly fine water without any unusual taste or impurity.

Absolute rubbish

Just buy a water filter jug and top up a plastic bottle. Filters last 1to2 months

Lots of chemicals in tap water, like chlorine which blocks absorption of iodine I understand. This is very important for me given a certain medical condition I've been working on. I never drink tap water if I can help it.

Purchased one a year ago. Leaked and agree I didn't like having to suck the water out.

Leaks a lot. Kind of sucks.

Wasn't on the shelf as £4.50 but scanned as £4.50! Thanks!! X
