I've just picked up one of these for this cracking price, plenty on the shelves in the yellow/black edged area (99p/£2.99/£4.99 items) This is the 'Limited Edition' Black version. Comes with a 4week timer in the lid.

Stock will differ by store but bargain if you can get hold of one, worth it almost for the (one) filter you get with it!

Yep, but my Quattro Titanium just doesn't get me as close a shave when I only use the handle :-D

Is the above image coming up for anyone? Not me for some reason?!

This is a execellent price for one of these jugs. I paid £15 for one a year ago. Filters arent that expensive.

Excellent price.
Voted hot

Have to use mine here, the hard water is horrible after being used to soft normal water for 7 years.

erm yeah im sure its useful if you have the misfortune to live somewhere with ****** water.

Very good price.

Or you could buy 7 and when the filter dies, just use the unboxed one. Just an idea.

Whoever drinks water straight from the tap is missing out. These jugs make a massive difference.

hot from me

Brita filters make the water taste much better. Good price for the jug and you can get the filters cheaply as they're often on a special offer.

Good price. If anyone needs the filters, the best place to buy them are from Amazon - 12 for £29.96 inc del. Works out to £2.50 per filter for a whole year. - amazon.co.uk/Bri…8-1

do these ones take the maxtra filters?

They take the classic filter

You need these ones for this jug amazon.co.uk/Bri…1-1 £28.46 for 12 = £2.37 each, or buy 12 jugs for £35.88!

Just going to mention that it looks like the (slightly annoying) one which doesn't have a hole in the top so you need to constantly take off the lid to refill it.
A good price - and they always include one cartridge too - but I'd get irritated taking the lid on and off.
Also looks like the classic filters which have, in my opinion, a horrid taste compared to the newer maxtra filtes which don't have that carbon taste.

very HOT !!!

Good price and and it used the right (classic) style filter.

I think it worth warning that the new Maxtra filters are rubbish compared to the original cylindrical style Brita filters.

After 10 years faithful service I upgraded to this fridge door friendly type and threw out my old one. In 4 months light use my 7 year old kettles element has gone from looking brand new to now being covered in crusty limescale. I am still in my same house and the only thing that has changed is the filter I use for the water. I have tried 3 new cartridges and all have resulted in the same, incredibly poor performance.

Great price, right filter. I shall try and get a couple tomorrow!

i got one great paid 11 quid and is worth that so for this price hot hot hot

I really need it , anyone please saw this offer in London/east/,please

the 4 superdrugs ive been into never have any of the damn deals on here! so annoying.
very hit and miss, hot nevertheless...however it just adds even mroe to our throwaway society

I have to agree. We've been using a Brita filter jug for a few years and also have a Brita kettle that filters the water before you boil it. Both are fab.

I'd go for this deal and keep your eyes peeled for replacement cartridge deals for the future.

Cheers

going to head over today see if they have any in my local
:santa:

Definately the Maxtra filter on the one I just bought this morning - I'm looking at it right now. £2.99 at Superdrug.

Thanks for the heads up OP - have some heat and rep.

Got mine in Leicester area, so still have stock here.

The one I got today does, but I'm wondering if Superdrug have a mixture of both filter type jugs?

See my earlier comments - looks like it might depend which Superdrug you go to. Check before stocking up on the filters.

I didn't think ours had any until I spotted them in a pile with other stuff near the exit. Obviously the first one they had sold this morning as the staff member who served me wanted to do a price check cos it was so cheap! The individual filters cost more than this each in Tesco, so this is a damn good deal.

btw i went into superdrug today

they didnt have any 2.6l but they had 7 3.3litre ones, @ £2.99

Happy Days

Knew the car industry was in trouble, but a 2.6L Fjord for £2.99, wow.

Sorry... it's been a long day

None at all in my local store (Newark)

Or the Brita filter

I can definately confirm that Superdrug have the Fjord at £2.99 in both the classic and maxtra versions. Our local had stocks of both. So make sure you get the version you prefer if you can. To give you an idea of how good this deal is, Wilcos had their own-brand classic-style filter jug on offer at £3,99.

heat and rep added, got 3 in Edinburgh one for me and one each for the parents

Cheers
