Noticed the price drop on this and the refill packs are probably worth it alone - so you basically get a free jug with this!

Filter for reduction in limescale, chlorine and other impurities
Flip top through lid for easy one-handed filling
1.5L filtered water capacity, 2.6L total capacity. Conveniently fits in your fridge door.
'Memo' cartridge exchange indicator to remind you when to replace
Soft grip handle and non-slip base
Dishwasher safe (excluding lid)
12 MAXTRA filter cartridge supplied

Amazon deals like this go up with demand. That's why the price changes so much. Shame

Yup it's gone up to £32.83 now

They've put the price up slightly, probably because of an influx in orders, no doubt from here.

Wow a whole pound and 10 pence extra... COLD!! X)

I think some of Amazon's prices changes according to the £/€ exchange rate.

Nice one OP ordered!

makes our tap water drinkable.... yes yes and yes

Nice one - perfect gift for my big sis x

bought thank you!!

Haven't voted either way, but those who insist on cleaning water that is already clean should look at buying a binchotan charcoal stick. They're about £5 for a stick that lasts 6 months! (Google it for more info)

There is always one isn't there!

Worth it imo just for the refill packs, +heat thanks

Even if it would cost £10.
Brita filter removes close to nothing from the water.
It removes 25% of some rust out of water with first filtration.
Additional 7% with second and additional 2% with third.
3 times filtered water trough brand new filter removes 33% of junk out of water and most rust and other poison such as fluoride stays. There is NO minerals in tap water. And Fluoride is 100% poison, its same as chlorine. Not any better.
That`s what contains 1 gallon tap water, once you boil out all pure water, you can visually see it:

And for fun tried to grow onions in distilled water and tap water.
In distilled water grown onion on the left, tap on the right.
Difference is obvious...
Hope that helps for anyone.
Get water distiller or water ionizer... Or at least revers osmosis filters, but the are expensive and you will need to change them at least for 6 months. There is no other methods to remove efficiently fluoride out of water, which cause insane amount of health issues.

Now that's a waste of money. General Ripper is that you? Around 10% of the UK receives fluoridated water and a proportion of that is naturally fluoridated. There's negligible health risks and clear benefits in poorer communities so let's stop the FUD

Decent deal on the filters here though. Can't really see the point from a drinking perspective but the water where I am is so hard that it wrecks kettles\Irons etc unfiltered

ordered. just for the filters. jug comes free.

Good find. Ordered for the filters. Will keep the jug as spare for future. Thanks.:{

Been waiting for one of these...My 1L jug has salts from use and the filter meter is broken. Awesome...hot!!

Thanx! My last one just broke

We have to have a water filter to prolong the life of our kettle and to save on de-scaler. We live in Kent, without a water filter we would have to de-scale our kettle every two weeks. With a filter that goes up to once every two months.
Hot for this, Brita are very expensive.

£36.11 now, went up £4 while I was reading the reviews

Now even cheaper at £28.89 !

Damn I just paid £34 or something. Oh well, cheers OP. Still a good buy.
