I’d say about a month give or take a few days.
Don't forget to register on brita website and save the bill, brita will send replacement parts if anything breaks,
I got completely new lid from brita sometime back.

That jug got the electronic indicator on the lid but it works like countdown timer which gives about 4-5weeks each time you reset it whilst changing the filter.

But it's still counting down at same rate no matter if your not using the jug at all or if you fill up the jug 10 times a day so bit of a false indication.

The actual filter "life" depends on many things like water hardness, amount of solids in water, any particles, how often you use it etc.

How did you get that?

If you use it with built in indicator then you get about a month from 1 filter.

Then it's 3 months from this pack of three.

Based on my experience with the product and also the standard recommendation from Brita, but yes as you rightly said the time they last depend on a lot of factors.
I change mine about every five to 6 weeks. But the water in my area is very good and I use two jugs and only two people in my house using them. I can't remember how litres they say a cartridge can filter but I doubt I'm there in one month like the indicator suggests.
Does it remove fluoride like the Zerowater filter jugs ?
Is this BPA free jug and could I use it without the filter as a normal water jug?

Should probably change the picture, only the blue jug available at this price - white is over £20

Im personally looking for the white-just found at The Range for 12.99 although only with 1 cartridge, but posted as a deal anyway in case it helps someone. (I already have over 10 cartridges
From last offer so not fussed about them :-) )

What does this filter out? Got great water in South Wales, but I prefer evian ie naive! However thats a lot of plastic bottles per year!

I don't like the taste of tap water so never drink it and I dislike some bottled water too but as i'm trying to cut down on plastic bottles I have the Brita Maxtra which tastes fine.No idea what the difference is between the two though lol
Tastes horrid returning it. The tap water tastes much nicer!
