Nice find, I bet the idiots desperately trying to grab the amazon bf one feel stupid now

Hot!

With the price of filter carts arent these just a drain as the initial price in no way reflects the ongoing cost of ownership?

Agree, I've got two of these jugs and stopped using them as could never find a deal on the Maxtra filters.
Also as half the jug is the prefiltered water which drains into the other section through the filter they dont actually hold that much and I found myself constantly filling it up.

May be these are good for not regular but substantial use while travelling, when bottled water cost / availability could be an issue.

I was just thinking that, looks like around 80% of the inside is plastic, never seen the need for these? I guess if you live in a really hard water area it could be of some use, but as mentioned you need to keep buying filters so the initial cost soon becomes a wallet burner, how long do the filters last?

Filters have a life of 4 weeks each,we use one of these at home, there are often deals on the filters, check out this site for the ones from B&Q and Sainsburys lately.

And yes we keep ours filled at all times.

Fab deal! Thanks.

Thanks. Ordered one, just as the timer on my old one has stopped working.

Wheres the best place to get the cartridges at the moment?

What's the point of filtered water, many water companies across the UK have excellent quality water some even put flouride in it. So why would you want all the goodness that's already in the water filtered away?

Thanksx

My girlfriend uses them religously. She goes to Sheffield Hallam and the water where she stays is almost murky.

Are you saying Flouride in water is good ?

absolutely. as long as it is in the right ratio. fluoride is good for teeth/oral hygiene. it's what they put in most toothpastes!

Got mine today too! Last one in my local store! Thanks again. There's a competition inside for a year's supply of filters (Brita do a raffle every month).

Just reserved one, thanks op.
