This reminds me of the eggscellent challenge from regular show. Now all we need is to find out how to beat it easily via diary

The vulgarity of excess in a western capitalist state while half the worlds population is on or below the poverty line-sickening!!

Can you just order this off the menu without the offer? Seems like a good deal if there is a group of you. Say you and seven mates, it only works out at £7.50 each and you are getting 14oz of Angus each (equivalent of 3.5 Big macs)

Looks like an impossible challenge. Adam Richman from Man v Food has never attempted anything as much as this. His challenges vary between 5 and a half pounds and 7 pounds (total meal). This is well over 10 pounds in total (the burger, not including the bun,the chips and milkshake take this close to 10 pounds in weight). Throw nin everything else and this could be over 11 pounds. If a guy that does this for a job doesn't attempt this kind of weight, I'd say this challenge is purely for the 'dreamers', who reckon they could do it,just because they are big eaters.

I'm sure the pictures are as misleading as the ones on display in McDonald's. It will arrive limp soggy and half the side of the photo.

exactly that

Previously held the record for this with 4 mates (we were called The Bun Bandits). Finished in around 18 minutes, but the Gatwick Giants (who were previously top) came back a few months later and smashed it in 12 minutes! Might have to attempt it again soon!

7lbs of beef and only 7 bacon rashers thats a bit poor !

The challenge may as well be "eat 100% of your body and get a free coffin".

Clearly this is just a bit of fun (I assume that they don't hide the fact that you're guaranteed to be forking out your £60, and that the assumption is that you're going to have friends with you anyway if you are taking up this challenge and thus "The Beast" will get eaten by them after you inevitably fail).

Even so, the poor sap who agrees to the challenge is going to have felt compelled to eat many times more than he/she really should have, so a big fat cold from me for that reason.

Not being picky... but which is it?

I agree, it doesn't really look possible. Most of these things such as the ones on Man V Food look somewhat possible, and that's where they hook you in. This is like a burger the size of a pizza haha :')

I love my food. Too much, in fact.

This though is wrong. Wrong, beyond wrong. To encourage something that is knocking on three quarters of a stone, to be consumed by one individual, is wrong and maybe dangerous.

All it's done is give advertising to this establishment.

Looks fun but really is stupid. Cold.

And you wonder why the Country's plagued with obesity??!!

It's a good gimmick to get people talking about the restaurant which is otherwise a pretty bland establishment. Great bit of marketing.

Reading the reviews, it looks like up to 4 people can attempt the challenge with 1 burger between you. That doesn't seem quite so impossible but I imagine most would still be unable to finish it all off

majes me feel sick looking at it ... I know some one who could eat this easily ...

There is another burger on the site you can do as a group challenge.....but it's £90 and you don't get your money back if you complete it!! Seems like a bit of a giggle to me.... At the end of the day you don't HAVE to eat it all do you. People need to take responsibility for their own actions....can't be doing with the 'nanny state' attitude. Its just a bit of fun...no more dangerous than the supermarkets being crammed with rubbish fatty processed foods. Adults make their own choices - good or bad. This isn't aimed at children after all. Unhealthy food is available everywhere - the quantity consumed is up to the individual. I think this looks like a great, fun, idea with mates....but I'm pretty certain we wouldn't finish it!!! Heat from me - great marketing

Yes, everybody eats one of these twice a day.
It's a novelty, to be attempted maybe once in a lifetime. And no doubt never finished.

Furious pete would be able to do this.

Just a few miles away from the notorious Kingston Fatberg.

Coincidence? I don't think so ...

I want to kick that burger onto the floor

This place is a couple of minutes down my road and while I've not personally eaten there yet, I have friends who have told me their food is overpriced and not that good! To be honest, you'd be far better off going to the Argentinian steakhouse about a minutes walk away.

You clearly haven't watched Man v Food enough - "Adam Richman from Man v Food has never attempted anything as much as this. His challenges vary between 5 and a half pounds and 7 pounds (total meal). Take everything into account - 7 lbs beef, 1lb chips, half pound cheese, 7 rashers bacon (half a pound), very large milkshake with 2 scoops ice cream (minimum 1lb). Add in the tomatoes and lettuce and that must make this clost, if not over 11 lbs in total. Adam doesn't even come close to this kind of weight. This is not possible for 1 person. As others have said, it is purely an advertising gimmick by an otherwise average restaurant.

"Would you like fries with that?"

Crikey that's a BEAST oO

Those cheeseburgers only have 1/10 pound of beef on them and very little dressing and although 10 cheeseburgers would be about 1/6 of the calorific value of this whole meal, you still have to fit all of the chips in your belly (which will expand) and the huge amount of salad that's on your burger (which will account to next to none of the calories so it's purely stomach filler). That's without taking the milkshake into account. I can't fathom how this would be possible in 60 minutes...

Anyone know the rules on being sick after eating it? lol
