Evening meal, bottle of wine, bed and buffet breakfast from £55 for 2 people.

Not the greatest hotel, but to be honest this deal was cheaper than a room only in Birmingham !!

Seems Good Enuff To Me.

Hot.

hot from me... dinner for two, bottle of wine, room for two and an all you can eat breakfast for £27.50 a head?

Bargain.

Plus 50p booking fee! (why do they bother?).

£119 Bournemouth, £65 some others but still a good price. Mon-Fri only.

Looks like you can get it even cheaper as a 'very last minute' deal too (came up with £50.50 tonight for me).

Thanks for your reply.

I'm looking at staying at the Manchester city centre hotel for a night away next week just to get away with the Mrs.

Some Bournemouth hotels £35 with breakfast only.... Search travelzoo and keep looking at different searches

For a second I misread that as 'from'

69?

I stayed in the one in Liverpool for about 3 months many many years ago and for that sort of money, I'd happily stay another night there.

I've stayed in Brittania hotels a fair few times. They are ok, breakfast is good, evening meals are like a school canteen, but edible and the wine can always double up for vinegar on your chips

Avoid the London one stayed there a few years ago for couple of nights and it was the worst place we had ever stayed at and the food and room was awful.

The ones in Wolverhampton and Nottingham are both dumps to be avoided!

I stayed in the Manchester one about 5 yrs ago and it was a horrid place. The room was small and damp and the staff who were serving in the restaurant had some serious personal hygiene issues.. on the plus side it was centrally located. Who knows that was 5 yrs ago, it May have improved!

pretty sure this deal is or was on groupon recently for cheaper. possibly not all hotels available though!!

Bosworth hall was nice when we stayed a few years ago....nice little village nearby..heat added! Just checked for this one and it appears its not included....shame that....

Go on trip advisor you wont want to go take it from me. Iw orked in them many years ago.
They are just holding centres for coach tours!

The one in Liverpool is the famous Adelphi hotel. A 99 year old grade 2 listed building with 402 en suite bedrooms, extensive marbel paneling and a 'Sefton Suite' that's an exact replica of the first class smoking lounge on the Titanic. Apparantly the bedroom doors all open outwards (like on a ship). It was regarded as the most luxurious hotel outside of London back in it's day and featured on BBC's eight part fly on the wall documentary "Hotel" back in 1997 if anyone remembers? "Just cook will ya!"

Stayed in the Manchester one, food was great, got my money's worth at tea-time alone. The hotel itself was a bit dated, but for the price not that bad. Seemed to be a hot spot for the over 60's, I went there as part of a bus trip package and I was only one of two people under 60.

The bus trip I went there on was only 89 pounds and I stayed there two nights....about a month ago.

stayed in Llandudno and Manchester. pretty poor rooms but food is good. were told we would have a bottle of wine in the room and it was sparkling wine from Lidl which they were seling for 99p. I know coz I used to work there.

It does make me laugh, when someone pays £40 for a room and then moans its a dump, happens on Trip advisor all the time....
Its not 5 Star Blah blah blah, the breakfast was rubbish etc ect. Its £40, don't expect the Ritz and you will have a good time, its a roof over your head and best of all its CHEAP as Chips!!!

Go and have a great time all :-) Just don't start moaning when you come home, life is too short, if you want something nicer, then you have to pay for it. Simples

Rant over, time for a cuppa
