I have these seats, they are great for supporting your childs head if they fall asleep because of the head rest angle

Have some heat this is an awesome deal for a very good seat. Just reserved one for my 3 year old.

Top post, perfect for grandparents too!

12 year olds? I dont have kids btw

bargain, son is just due to move into one of these. bought 2, one for each car!

We have had one the same for the daughter last two years, paid £35 for it two years ago, so this is a mega bargain. They are nice and light, have a handy cup holder, easy to switch between cars and are nicely padded. The daughter regularly falls asleep in hers. Really nice seats

Yes kids up to 12 required by law now to use a car seat. Yes seems wierd when you think back to your own childhood but that's the way it is now.

i've got the Graco LX one which is easy to dismantle and also has an arm rest.
Is this just as good?

Up to 12 years old or 135cm in hieght whichever comes earlier. My daughter was just over 10 when she reached the required height.

Also, not sure why it says not to use in a front seat with an active air bag as I was pretty sure that that restriction only applied to rear facing child seats.

This one's out of stock and has been for a while despite Halfords sending out emails this week advertising the deal!

Which report only gives this 43% and says it only just escapes being listed as a "don't buy" owing to poor protection during front end crash. Won't touch this one. cold

This OP should be pulled IMHO

Flombard while you make a worthwhile point regarding the review pulling the deal due to Which's review is ludicrous and that's before you look at the testing methods.

If I had my way every deal on Samsung 45x series plasma's would be pulled as every single one I've owned has failed in less than a year but Which don't mention that in the review now do they ?

We've got one of these purely for emergancies and as a spare but to be honest I wouldn't touch it for day to day use. I've just ordered a Cybex soloution and it knocks spots off the Britax one.

Which crash testing is more stringent. This just scrapes through - there is a deal for Cybex on this site which has far better safety score although a bit more money. My concern is that HUKD is giving extra advertising space so that more parents will purchase a product that only just meets minimum criteria. Ultimately its your choice, however I have just ordered the isofit Cybex on the basic that it scored much higher in the crash test.
So your TV failed which is unfortunate, contact Which directly - I cannot see the link between that and toddler seat safety.
