I just collected this today after returning the 2-3 version for a full no quibble refund after 3 months as I found my son was always leaning forward over the belt when he fell asleep in the car seat. I was thinking of getting one with a harness and was in Costco yesterday and was nicely surprised to see this at this price as they are £120 elsewhere although i think Kiddicare sell at £100. They only had 3 left in the store when I went in today and the had a full pallet yesterday so they are flying off the shelf

We have this seat and its really solid, fits relatively easily too, only problem is when you take the covers off to wash, the instructions may as well be in chinese for all the good they are. last time I gave up went to mothercare took a picture of the back to see how the straps were configured and then used the picture to re-build, much simpler.
This seems a really good price.

I agree but thats typical of just about any car seat, once you take the covers off its always almost impossible to feed the harness back through correctly without any instructions.

Is this the only seat out there that would suit a toddler with a 5 point harness for as long as possible, and then be ok for an older child? All the ones I look at are either 5 point harness up to 3-4 OR adult seat belt booster style for older children. Ideally wanted an isofix but am guessing that this is the only one that covers both types of harness?

Great buy but try and go somewhere like mothercare or halfords and have one fitted and checked for suitability in your car before you buy.
I missed out on a hot deal for a car seat posted on here a couple of weeks ago but in hindsight it was a good thing as, when it was fitted in my car by trained fitter, it was unsuitable - the seat belt buckle was in such a position to cause maximum stress on it in the event of a collision - a fact that had I bought it online and fitted it in the car myself, I would have been oblivious to.

Not totally related to this product but after extensive research when buying car seats for my 2 sets of twins, I finally settled on the Concorde lift Evo PT. They rated as the best seat for their group in 'which' and although they do not have the 5 point harness, the guide system for your in car seatbelts and the guard system around your child for side impact is reassuringly almost over the top.

They aren't for the younger child and we have only put our youngest twins who are three and a half into them in the last 6 months. The head rest is adjustable and I believe that they are suitable up to 9 years old.

Probably the best feature is the colour schemes and materials that are used which are clearly of European influence and look particularly trendy in the red and green mock suede. Coming in in a number of online stores now at between £70 and £90 I would seriously consider them as an option if you are looking for a new car seat for a 3yr+ child.

Like I said, not comparable to this item which is for 9months+ but if your eye has been taken by the car seat you may just find that this relatively unknown brand is just what you are looking for.

hi, yes this is Including VAT, thats why its a fantastically HOT deal, in terms of suitability, if it does not fit your car or you do not like the car seat just return the car at any time and costco give you a full refund.

Membership is about £20 but you got to belong to a certain trade or profession

Bought this in John Lewis about a year ago now for £135.00 Certainly recommend, however my only criticism is the fabric beading wears very easily. That said good buy for the money!

Kiddicare have been selling them for months £79 inc postage
