This is a great deal , we have a blue one and it’s a pretty decent seat, we paid a lot more than this and I searched for months to try and get it cheaper at the tine

Good deal. I got mine from Mothercare. Is it normal for the backrest to almost rock back and forth if not connected to the seat?
I would never compromise on safety but saying this should be £200 is a joke... £100 is still a bit much for a booster seat for a 4 year old, plenty on the market that are as good if not better for less.
Other recents offers too. Thanks
If this was pretty much any other colour I'd get one.
Also £10 back in points if your are in the parenting club too

Yeah it’s normal
I recently bought Britax Römer KIDFIX SL SICT great seat and a which? Best buy. Be warned the xpad on these units can stop the seat belt retracting properly, not great if you end up in a crash. Xpad can be removed though.
Cringe that people still bothered about blue for boys and pink for girls. Dreadfully old fashioned.

? I'm not sure what you mean here. When you have an accident the pre-tensioners on seat belts pull the buckle downwards to tighten it and lock the belt. The seat belt doesn't retract?

Think poster might mean that when the child loosens the belt by leaning forward or pulling it that it doesn’t retract because of the grip of the xpad?

I appreciate all opinions on this. But cringing and labelling people ‘dreadfully old fashioned’ is probably uncalled for.

I suppose we can deal with dreadfully old fashioned if there is no cringe involved
