At 4 years old you still need a full height seat for back and neck protection

Not according to the law ....unless it's changed again ?? :?

dont think its the law its just better protection stops the head getting jolted around in an accident. Also keeps the seat belt at the right place better than the clips that come with the boosters.

Good deal though voted hot

According to the law, a basic booster seat is fine & the manufacturers do say that they are suitable from 4 years. But personally, I wouldn't put my 4 year old in one.

I up until recently worked at Toys R Us on the baby department & we always advised customers that the basic booster seats were not suitable until the child was around 6 years old.

My lil man's 5 & I'll be keeping him in his high backed booster seat for a while yet!
