BA currently offering last minute weekend getaways from £99 for flights and including 2 nights stay. Banner on linked page says from £139 but if you scroll down you can find a break to Jersey for £99 pp incl. 2 nights hotel. Barcelona £130 and Istanbul £144. This is on until 22nd of April, I assume they will update the website in the weeks to come with new offers.
Not bad as flights leaving Friday evening and coming back Sunday are usually expensive. I could find a couple of destinations where the flight left Heathrow at 7pm on Friday, so if you work 9-5 no need to take an extra day off!

Also possible £25 / £26.25 cashback with Quidco / Topcashback! Thanks PhoenixRising and Peter_1234 for the heads up!

Unfortunately TCB state "Cashback is not paid on Short Haul flight or domestic flight bookings".
So I would try via Quidco who don't state this.

Unfortunately they all seem to leave from London. For many of us the cost of getting to London is more than that again!

Thanks Paulus, have added it to the title.

Thanks for sharing Bargain, voted hot

Great deal, heat added but I wish it wasn't just London

I'm sure someone's Mum would appreciate being jetted off to Jersey for Mothers Day weekend on the 29th. The £99 deal includes breakfast and the hotel has a heated indoor swimming pool, steam room and Jacuzzi.

I say to everyone, be fair and share Thanks very much, The way I look at it is, if just one person benefits it was time well spent x

A great deal from the newly named 'London Airways' !

awesome thank you

annoys me when someone has taken the time and effort to share this deal, that people moan about the location/where its from. Seems quite ungrateful and takes away from the spirit of this site. Give the deal some heat, thank the OP and help find more suitable deals then.

As an aside, dont forget you can uses clubcard points/Avios as this is with BA.

or look out for the many free vouchers that red spotted hanky give out. Been possible to get £30 (& more) of free train travel through rsh. That would pay for an advance single from a most bih cities in England.

The comment was about BA no longer being a British Airline anymore by concentrating on London solely as it's international hub, and I did mention it was a 'great deal'

Anyways.......get a room you two.

Wow... just returned from Budapest on the weekend... now I'm thinking of taking another holiday with this deal this weekend!

Op, add quidco and topcashback to the title and description; this is smoking hot.

So difficult to find a late Friday departure and return first thing Monday for a reasonable price, argggg. And relax...

How was it? I'm going this weekend, any tips?

For those who do not live near the 'centre of the universe', better to avoid BA altogether than wasting time and money on unnecessary rail journeys. If we all give them a wide berth instead of making extra efforts to comply, they either have to change or go to the wall (preferably).

I wish I had the time as this is a great deal.

Pity you have to go from London. Horrible place London.

Heat added, but the pound sign thing really hurts my OCD.

Seeing as 13% of the UK population live in London, this is a great deal for those 8 million people living there - unfortunately i'm not one of them. Definately a good deal though.

Was there two weeks ago. always count your change from the taxi drivers - they'll rip you off. one gave me a 5000 note (£15ish). It wasnt till i used it in a bar that they told me it was an out-of date romanian note worth 10 pence. When you're on the excitement of a holiday you just dont notice stuff like that at the time :-/

Saying that - Budapest is the most beautiful city ive ever been to. Great food, nice people, VERY cheap drinks - have fun :-)

Impressive aircraft. Is that the one you get to Barcelona?

Didn't book one of these deals directly, but clicked through and got myself flights and 3 nights 4* in Rotterdam for myself over the Easter weekend for £260 after cashback. Seems amazingly cheap given that its over the Easter break.

Unfortunately TCB state "Cashback is not paid on Short Haul flight or domestic flight bookings".

So I would try via Quidco who don't state this.

"Any more"? You'd have to go back a rather long way to get to a time when BA used other UK airports as international hubs...

And although people moan about it, it's hardly unusual for a flag carrier in a small country to base themselves in one city. It's far more profitable to route everyone via London on full planes than to fly one half empty from London and one half empty from Manchester etc.

megabus and national express is so cheap to London. You can usually get there and back for under £20 per person from manchester and further. So it's quite easy if you really want to take advantage of this.

I do feel sorry for the folk in the provinces. their envy of London must be so painful. sad really.
