In my opinion £35 flight one way is cheap.

No particular expectation, it's a cheap price but just clarifying

Decent price but Ryanair is fine for such a short trip and cheaper too

Bargain prices always in the south,no competition for Easyjet up north, hence high prices, still don't wish i lived in the south though

You can expect many travel deals for little money at times on forums such as this....a few years ago we had a flight to Cologne, Germany for something silly like £5 each way. Therefore such clarification in the thread is welcomed.

Bargains are to be had in january i got a flight from oslo back to london then the next day from heathrow-jfk- then 7 days later jfk-heathrow all for £147.

People from london arent aware of this yet...everything stops outside the m25 for them.

Maybe £35 one way, never to return to london, isnt a bad price at all?

I flew from Liverpool to Barcelona return in 2012. Was similar prices to this ie. £30 odd each way. We have both Ryanair and Easy Jet at our local airport.

no if he/she books luggage separately for £48 for 23kg.then definitely not returning same flight but on bicycle.

A round the world trip and a good nosh ?

Never again will I fly Ryanair and that was after a short 35min flight from Manchester to Dublin. I'd rather fly BA or easyjet. Watch the dispatches undercover programme and you'll never fly Ryanair again!!!! Check the stats on how many aircraft per annum declare emergencies because of low fuel levels then get priority or divert to alternate airport? I'll say no more

I've seen it and flown them numerous times since... If anything, getting priority landing slots seems like it would be a good thing for the 1 in a million (I doubt that's much of an exaggeration) chance of being on a Ryanair flight with a "fuel emergency" (which isn't remotely an emergency). You really think the aviation authorities would let them fly like that if they were putting people at risk?

Both Ryanair and Easyjet operate from my local.

Just today I booked a return flight from Gatwick to Barcelona in early December. £68 with easyjet.

I'd personally always pay a few quid more with BA. I can invariably get an exit row seat free of charge on BA whereas most of the others make you pay (though I think if you're lucky and there's a space you can get it for free with Norwegian at the airport?) and the couple of free drinks and snack make up for the difference. Plus as an active airmiles collector, the miles you'd get from a London to Barcelona return are worth about £15 - or possibly 2 or 3 times more than that if I find a particularly good value redemption.

We have just come back from Barcelona. We paid £117 return for 2 to Liverpool with Ryanair. ☺

Why do airlines always quote one way flights??, very few people go and fail to return!!.

Yeah. It's pretty crowded down here. Something to do with it being popular I hear. Some northerners on HUKD would struggle to get around judging by the enormous chips they have on their shoulders.

Given the various downgrades in BA service for economy european flights I'm not sure it is when you can fly to Barcelona and back from London for less than £50 with Ryanair.

why would you post a one way deal to Barcelona. how on earth do you expect me to get back?

Well you may need a one way ticket, you dont have to fly with the same Airline if you go away somewhere. Im going Tenerife in a couple of weeks. Cheapest direct flight back was £140, so im going via Barca £40 with Vueling then to Gatwick with BA for £27.

I can get out to Barcelona for £31.99 and back for £14.99 with Easyjet from Luton in November & December
