British Airways holiday sale has just started and I thought this was a really good price. It was £150 more expensive when I checked a couple of days ago.

I stayed at this Yotel in 2018. To call it "Times Square" is a little mis-leading. Only a 10 minute walk to Times Square, but it certainly isn't.

Lovely hotel though. Rooms are VERY small, but we loved it.

"A compulsory Resort Fee applies $43.03 (tax inclusive), per room, per night, (applies also to any bonus offer free nights), is payable locally directly to the hotel, (charge is subject to change without notice)."

This is in the small print before you hit "confirm", so good luck trying to not pay it. That said ... "subject to change without notice" is not legal .. you can't rock up on the day and they say "sorry, last week we changed it to $1000 a night"

4 nights is plenty for NYC. You don't need longer.

I'd rather stay in Edinburgh to be honest. Been to both. NYC is very overrated and so expensive once you get there

Seems a really good deal, shame the flights are indirect via London tho

Yeah I did look at direct flights but they are so expensive with United for next year. I think over £1000 per person.

Great deal but having said I'd never fly BA again, I did earlier this year long haul to South America. Oh my days, talk about a hellish experience and also such rude/arrogant staff. Still, have some heat - if it were direct I'd consider it but T5 at heathrow and the idea of flying with BA just makes me feel squeamish lol.

The worst flight I ever had was Heathrow to Vegas. Yes there were a few stag parties, but it was woefully mismanaged. The staff literally left the passengers to themselves. The alcohol was gone within 2 hours of the flight (I am not a drinker, I just wanted Cola) and it was so bad. I would try and avoid them at any opportunity as a result.
My friend got married and paid an extra £1000 per person for himself and his partner to fly with a different airline for their honeymoon. That's how bad BA were.

How do you know the BA sale has started nothing in their home page?

has the official 'winter' sale started at BA? Can't find any details on it

Any deals for direct from london?

Nothing on the BA page stating sale however the above price is actually even cheaper when you search. It comes up as £1334 which is a great price49105514-hWPkD.jpg

You need to mindful to add on the resort fees per night which is around 40 dollars I think payable locally, will be in small print.

Don't pay resort fees, always contest them.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Better available for not much more.
